i’m gently cupping every woman’s face when I say this: there are things far worse than being single at any age
do not let your loneliness convince you that indifference or someone who is constantly hot + cold is better than being alone. being misunderstood or unappreciated is a loneliness of its own
The sexiest thing a woman can do is move on. Whether it’s from their partner, career, family, etc. Society has programmed women into believing there’s a moral reward for enduring and staying. Fuck that. Get a new partner, new career, move to another state/country, please just MOVE ON.

in another universe, i don’t hold things so close to my chest, i hold them a safe distance away from where my heart is.

just relapsed on seeking human connection
kind of weird how parts of your soul are left in various locations without any warning… like yes i’m always at the top of that hill, sitting at the bus stop, in the cool light of the Japanese restaurant, standing at the pier etc etc
btw you will miss this in 5 or 10 years. memory will smooth these circumstances down like a river stone, and you will find yourself longing for a shade of light or a moment of this particular innocence. you don't know about what happens next, and one day that will be the most alluring thing of all. don't leave it all for nostalgia. have a nice night now, whatever night it happens to be.
maybe I’ll treat next year as an experiment and just do everything I want to do and if it fails then who cares it was my experiment year
everything is a circle so we’ll be right back
ughhh fine *experiences emotional growth*
Getting a weird little hobby is actually so important bc it opens your eyes up to the world. You start crocheting or knitting, and now you see scarves and sweaters differently. You try identifying plants, now you’re seeing opposite and alternate leaf pattern. Bird watching? Every chirp draws attention and interest.
Get into weird little hobbies.
