Displaying Twitter

If you wish to display Twitter on your site, you will need this code.

It works on PHP and HTML websites. Edit the CSS to your liking.

Find HOPEFADESORG and change to your username.

Find count=2 and change the 2 to how many tweets you would like to display.

There is also this tutorial (external).

Finding Absolute Path

Make a file called absolutepath.php and put in the following:

<?php echo realpath(dirname(__FILE__)); ?>

Upload it to the directory you need the absolute path of, and then run it in your browser.

That is your absolute path!

Delete from your server for security purposes.

Date - This snippet simply displays the date. See the date tutorial to learn how to customize this.

Entry header - This is the coding that should go on entry.php before everything else.

Icons - I wish I had made it "icon", but "avatar" still works. Just annoys me, TBH.

Change /images/updates/ to the location of where the icons for your updates are located. If you wish, this can be your absolute path; however, such is not required.

Index.php page - This is the entire page. If you mess up, just copy & paste this into the page and wahlah! Fixed. ;) (hopefully)
