Update: Just watched Goldmine and I HATED the Cece's breast reduction plotline with Schmidt. I know it's supposed to be comedic, but a male trying to take ownership over a woman's body is genuinely not funny. Also, Winston trying to get sex through favours and women playing rock paper scissors for who has to have sex with him because they "owe" him? Also not funny. That being said, Winston and Coach bouncing? HILARIOUS.

YES!!!! goldmine is one of my least fav episodes i rlly think that it had a lot of low blows in terms of ‘humour’ like. it was offensive on many levels. and honestly ik that schmidt is the douchebag of the gang, and also i think very much based on barney stinson’s version of the womaniser character, but like YIKE i really hate the way he talks ab cece’s body in general until the later seasons, for a show that talks sm ab feminism they really missed the mark w this (ughhhh yeah i hate that ep for winston too, like, first of all ewwwww second of all, ladies just carry your own stuff come on is it really that hard?)

Another thing I don’t like about the goldmine episode is Nick pretending to be gay so Jess can date a guy. Pretending to be gay is never okay no matter how convenient it might be. and all the jokes about the ‘type of gay’ Nick is is uncalled for
