Infamous for being the costliest film ever made* and for showcasing Elizabeth Taylor at the peak of her beauty and scandalous adulterous life.
The long, breathtaking procession began. The sets were so massive that for years they were a turistic attraction in Italy.

Kronberg is an imaginary kingdom in the cult classic Queen Kelly (1929) where royalty is presented as a mind-afflicted and eccentric bloodline. She is jealous, prone to rages, adores persian cats and champagne and is in love with a womanizer! She’s simply fabulous and uber glamorous. Iconic Royalty at its best!

A failure upon release, Ash Wednesday has become a cult classic celebrating one of the greatest faces of the 20th Century and of all times. Back in the 1970s, plastic surgery was taboo and the film offers a surreal glimpse into the discreet lives of the rich and beautiful, if not frivolous. The actual operation scenes were shocking and gruesome to many, which only adds to its cult value. When the bandages come off, we all want to believe that if we undergo plastic surgery, we will end up looking like radiant violet-eyed Elizabeth Taylor as well. Hollywood’s playing a joke on us.
