I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.

i like using streaming apps but there are waaaay too many and they're all stealing my data .i wish there was a secure and organized way to have millions of shows and movies available one one app. but alas. we've truly gone full circle back to cable + now it spies on you. its a real shame. i dont want to fill my device storage with tons of boring and stupid cash grabs.

i know, it's so annoying for everything to be paid nowadays, especially movies and tv shows. it would be perfect if i could watch them without getting infected by some virus or some shit. i'm fine with ads, they gotta run themselves somehow, but i want to watch stuff and .live! if they have to use different domains i'm okay with that too, because free media is .top dog either way.

Renegade Bindery Exchange 2025:

2025 was my first year as a @renegadeguild member and it was also the first year I took part in the annual Renegade Bindery gift exchange! This exchange is where we typeset and handbind a book as a gift for other members of the discord. Now all the pictures and typesets have been released, and now that my giftee (@kolutshanpress) has received the book I am able to share!

By The Still Waters is a really lovely Fenris/Hawke Dragon Age: Inquisition fic, I bound this fic blind and I had a blast doing so. I ended up making three copies of the fic, one for my giftee, one for my sister-in-law (who helped with the dragon age vibes as I knew nothing), and one for me because I loved the story so much.

I have to hugely thank the artist @kisunaexe for their gracious permission to use their art of Fenris and Hawke on the front and back cover of the bind. The cover was designed in Canva, printed on matte photo paper, and covered in soft touch laminate for protection. It is a little hard to see but the spine has ripples on it to mimic water. I really love how it all came together in the end.

For the title fonts, I used Asul and Inquisition Small Caps Normal from (or close to fonts from) the series to link the bind back to Dragon Age.

The chapter heading art is a recreation Fenris's chest tattoos, given how significant they are to the story. This was recreated with direct reference to concept art/screenshots from the series. I have done few colour typesets so wanted to have a go with a simple one to get me started here.

The spine has an oxford hollow for stability, and a rounded spine.

This was the first exchange I have ever had the pleasure to take part in and I can't wait to do it again at the end of this year!

i've been rewatching crisis core cutscenes recently, wondering if I'll notice something different after knowing what I know from Ever crisis.

This scene in particular stood out a bit because why does Sephiroth look as if the Apple reminds him of something, like he's momentarily considering truce— only to look towards that Jenova sign and change his mind. It's not just that he looks towards the sign, but there's a bit of that glitchy effect that we normally see in Remake associated to the "headaches" too.

I wonder if he can hear Jenova inside his head in Nibelheim the way he does in Robio. Her voice Influencing him, playing into his weaknesses and telling him that she is the only one who will be there for him.

Honestly, It would be so interesting to see the Nibelheim incident from Sephiroth's POV. I also wonder how strong Sephiroth's hallucinations (is that the right word?) could be when she's literally right there. Like when he looks into the tank the first time, does he actually see Jenova's alien form? Would he see Lucrecia's face on it the way he did in his dreams in EC? Ahhh so many questions

B I think you are onto something here. I did not really pay attention to the part where Sephiroth looks up to the Jenova sign until I read the script:

セフィロス、JENOVAのプレートを見る。 セフィロスは何か（ジェノバの意志）を感じる。 （画面フラッシュやジェノバの一瞬のカットインなどで表現） セフィロスは落ち着きを取り戻す。

Which can be translated as:

Sephiroth looks at JENOVA's sign. Sephiroth feels something (the will of Jenova). (Expressed through screen flashes or a brief cut-in of Jenova). Sephiroth regains his composure.

It is Jenova's influence that leads to Seph's final decision to turn Genesis down, severing one of his few remaining bonds with others.

Day 5 - A most accomplished performance.

Hatred and envy engulf Genesis' soul when he realizes himself in a secondary role. Instead of being the main character, he is just an object of love, forced to always remain in the shadow of the hero. He denies his nascent feelings. Until envy, hatred, and pride are shattered by Sephiroth's pure and sincere love for him.

A friend came up with the idea to introduce Sephiroth as the Loveless' main character, and Genesis as his love interest. She showed me a part of the gameplay where the play is staged with the love interest of the hero in the title role and said that Genesis would like this play. He would have been touched by this, because he always felt like he was on the sidelines, and Sephiroth was the main character.

Day 3 - Dance 'til your frayed strings break.

Writer Genesis is so impressed at first sight by the ballet dancer Sephiroth that he decides by all means to persuade him to play a role in his play. Among other things, he wants to be buried under all those huge Sephiroth muscles...

My hand has rested a little and I'm going back to drawing art! Although I have to give up the detailed background to save my dumb hand...

It would be one thing if Genesis was just some bland rando character with five lines that shows up and is never talked about ever again.

But instead, Square makes this edgy loudmouthed theater kid who, love him or hate him, wields an INCREDIBLE amount of power, has MAJOR impacts on the plot at large, and incurs irrational fandom wrath wherever he goes.

They cannot imprison him forever. Eventually, he WILL breach containment.

Sephesis Week 2026 @sephesisweek - Day 2: Provocation

“When was the last time you took a vacation?”

Genesis’s question landed on Sephiroth like a punch, and, as always, no answer was offered. The General lowered his gaze, a mixture of embarrassment and anxiety flashing across his face—it was the tenth time his lover had raised the same subject. The redhaired Soldier hesitated with the awkward silence, as if finally allowing the uncomfortable truth to settle in.

“So… never.”

It shouldn’t surprise him, not really. After years of being friend, lover, and comrade to the Hero of Shinra, he should be numbed to the countless abuses of Shinra. Regardless, they still sting.

“One more reason… nobody needs to know. Take a few days off, you deserve at least that much. I’ll say I’m visiting my parents in Banora, and Angeal can cover for us. He’ll fly the chopper, pretend he left me home… and we rendezvous somewhere else… somewhere private.”

Sephiroth brushed the suggestion aside as absurd, just as he had the nine previous times. Vacations were a foreign concept for him. Genesis and Angeal had somewhere to return to, but where could he go? The General steered the conversation away once more, and the topic vanished for a week.

“I’m not saying it’s possible, but if it were…” Sephiroth asked later, after a very satisfying training session.” Where would you like to go?”

Sephesis Week 2026 @sephesisweek - Day 3: Urgency

"Sephiroth and Genesis have been together for a while—friends for three years, lovers for over a year. Fifteen months of delicious yet erratic encounters, both in frequency and flavor. Sometimes their meetings were hasty and rough: a quick tryst in a locker after training, a burst of violence and adrenaline that fed their well‑known competitive spirits. Other times the pace was slower: a chance encounter without Angeal, a pleasant afternoon around Midgar, a fancy restaurant here or there, and a long night to savor each other.

Regardless of the circumstances, Genesis always looked good at their meetings. More than good— flawless. The redhead enjoyed the game of crafting his allure, engaging all of its lovers' senses: glowing appearance, soft, scented skin, a backdrop of ambient music and the most expensive wine mingling with their kisses.

Not that night, though.

It was war, after all, and no surprise that the Soldier had lost his usual finesse. A few months of that hell were enough to dull even the most vain among them. Still, there was a urgency in the blue-mako eyes—a predatory sharpness—that weighed on Sephiroth when they met for debriefing.

The sex, however, was extraordinary."
