Hello there! My name is Liz, and this blog is where I will post pictures of doll clothes that I have made; some from patterns I've found, others that I've designed myself. I’m not sure which doll you mean. :$ If you mean any of the Disney dolls, those are designed for children. If you mean the last doll, a BJD, then I give it a definite 'no’. BJDs are most definitely not for children.

Could you teach us how to make clothes for our dolls? Your's are lovely!

I might do some tutorial photosets, although I must warn you, I don't use a gauge. (Don't tell anyone). I know I should, but I'm just too impatient. But I shall see what I can do! And thank you! :)

I'm not dead; just distracted. Anyway, here are some items I have managed to make in my spare time (not the shirt and shoes, of course. Those were purchased). But the skirt and gloves are both designed and created by yours truly. I've gotten more into BJDs vs. barbies now, they are much more customizable, and I just like them better. :3 This is Deanna, my Iplehouse Tania. It doesn't get very cold down here in the south, so I suppose this could be considered a winter outfit. :) Anyway, I will try to be making more/posting more things, and eventually open and Etsy shop (which I've been saying I'll do for over a year now :p).

im thinking of buying the katniss doll from amazon is rhe hair good quaity?

I actually haven't taken it out of it's original braid, but I guess it would be the same quality as normal barbies. It's kind of stiff, I think they put something in it to help the braid from getting frizzy. I've been meaning to wash mine with baby shampoo, but haven't gotten around to it. But I totally think you should get her! She's a very beautiful doll, and if you're a THG fan, she's a definite buy.

Sorry for being MIA lately! Knitting takes a while! Here's Lena, my Feeling Drained, Too Ellowyne. The hoodie is based off of this pattern, but I tweaked it quite a bit. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

Trixie's boots finally arrived, along with some for her sisters! The weather is rather dismal today, so she decided to brighten the world up with her colorfulness.

It was a very Ellowyne Christmas! I'm sorry I've been AWOL for a few weeks, but between work and the holidays and being sick, I haven't been able to make many outfits. :( But I've got a couple that'll I post in a few days; right now we're waiting on some shoes! And then we'll have a proper photo shoot. But in the meantime, here's my newest girl, Trixie! (Aka 'A case of the Blues').

hey!! I just wondered about your merida doll! I have the same doll, but the back of her hair when I took her out of the box was all flat and ugly :(! Was yours like that?

Is it just like a longer patch underneath the curls? And it feels like there's no gel in it? Then yep! I just trimmed that part a little bit, and then played with her hair until it looked good. My sister actually boiled the hair on hers (she did some other stuff too, I think. I'm not exactly sure). But her's looks just like it does in the movie. Personally, I like the big curls. :) So just trim it and tousle it a bit, and it should be fine!
