Look back month challenge day 5: any buying regrets.
These are…complicated. I have a few other, similar dolls that I didn’t want to set up for photos, too. I don’t know if I exactly regret them, but I don’t not regret them?
I adore them. Now that I have them, I cannot be parted with them. But, like, I probably shouldn’t have bought them in the first place. I have several more tonners and integrity dolls not pictured, each between $65 and $120, and another kurhn ($50ish each), and I think miss Suzette was about $110. I bought all of them around the same time, along with a million other dolls - I think I was probably manic. But the other dolls were either cheap enough that I don’t feel bad about it, or unimportant enough that I could resell them, or both. These ones I love so much, but I feel like I shouldn’t have them, I know I would have a significant amount of money if I didn’t have them, but I can’t bear to get rid of them, so it’s weird. I guess I’m glad I have them now, but I do kind of regret the manic choice to blow a bunch of money on them in the first place.
Tim Burton Toys.
These are all 1/6th scale or roughly around twelve inches tall (not sure about Alice in Wonderland or the Mars Attacks figures).
