Break is almost ending, but it is only recently that I started actually feeling it. Here are the things I did today to recharge:

Currently reading the book "The Secret Garden" by Frances Burnett

Wrote a chapter on my ongoing story that I haven't continued for about five months now due to uni

Curated a list of novels and philosophy books that I plan to read in the future.

I came across this concept called "personal curricula" wherein you choose a specific topic to learn and create a list of materials that will help you learn it. It sounds very interesting so I will attempt to do it. Currently, I am interested in learning about Soren Kierkegaard's philosophy. Also, I would like to start a commonplace journal so I purchased a ruled notebook. I'm very excited to learn new things and get into the habit of journaling again.

11/01/2025 21/100 days of productivity

Despite it being my break, my days have still been hectic. My friend and I hosted a halloween party, and for the past few days we have been planning and fixing up the venue for the event. Yesterday, we both did plenty of intense cooking and baking. I made cheesecake (which tasted pretty amazing), and focaccia (which was an epic fail because it was too hard). I also went as Magic Mike dancer for my costume.

As reward for our hard work, the event was a success and we drank multiple rounds. Fortunately, I didn't get drunk because that would be a disaster.

I know that this is not a typical entry for the days of productivity challenge, but I would still consider what I did to be very productive bc of all the intense baking and hard work we put into arranging this event.

Tiktok comments are incredibly annoying. I swear I lose brain cells every time I open the comment section. All you see are people complaining about the most useless things when there are more pressing matters to talk about.

So many things have happened the past few weeks which is why I haven't been able to post here as much and do my days of productivity. For one, I celebrated my birthday—or, well, I really didn't because I just ate cake then went back to work. Secondly, the semester has finally ended and the next semester will be starting in a week. I was able to finish my research and our group got a really high grade on it. I also passed all of my exams and aced Cognitive Psychology, specifically. Today, we received our grades and I realized that all of my hard work has paid off because I am part of the Dean's List!!! Dean's List 2nd Honors specifically, and though I was hoping for 1st Honors, I am still proud of this achievement.

I'll try to get back to posting my days of productivity once again starting tomorrow. For this break, I plan to finish a few novels and write a psychological analysis on one of my favorite anime characters.

My dad was dealing with some mixed feelings so I told him "In therapy when something is too complicated to do a simple 'pro and contra list' we sometimes do an excercise where you imagine all these mixed feelings around a table in some kind of conference, letting each tell their bit and you leading the debate."

and my dad didn't really respond and just stared ahead so I kept preparing lunch. Until a few minutes later when he suddenly piped up: "I am having a bad time at the conference"

I am about to fall asleep after a long day filled with exams and research stuff, but I accidentally got roped into a msg conversation with my classmate about the universe

Argh, I haven't been able to post my days of productivity because I'm really swamped with work. It's currently 3AM where I live and I just finished all of my work for the day and I still have more things to do tomorrow. I will try to post a summary of all the things I've done once I'm finally not as busy. Currently, I just really don't have the time : ( my 21st birthday was spent studying the entire day and writing a research paper, though I did treat myself to some food.

the secret to living a calm and confident life lies in being organised and prepared. when you are always scrambling, searching, stumbling, you create an energy of chaos. part of respecting yourself is adequately preparing yourself for what lies ahead, through organisation and practise.

It's funny how the coolest temperature I get to experience in this tropical country is 26 degrees celsius and I'm wrapped up in a blanket, while people from other countries walk around in tank tops in temperatures under 26 degrees lol

10.24.25 20/100 days of productivity

Today was pretty uneventful. Finally finished our presentation on the Philosophical Science paper I've been going on and on about the past few days and i think we did pretty okay. I and my other member were the only two people who were answering the professor's questions though. Organic Chem was uneventful as we simply had grade consultation, and we had a very short lesson for Cognitive Psychology. Exams are next week and I've yet to start studying.

Right now, we are celebrating round two of my uncle's birthday, but this time at a restaurant. Everyone got to eat seafood boil except for me. Cursed allergies. But I at least got to have an entire bowl of chicken wings to myself though (I only ate 4 pieces haha).

Later, I will attempt to go through my Theories of Personality notes. Tomorrow, I will have plenty of things to do.

Also, it would be nice if I could form friends among my mutuals : ] pls let us communicate with each other

10.13.25 19/100 days of productivity

I, unfortunately, did not get to take any pictures today as I was so busy the entire day. For Organic Chem class this morning, we had a graded recitation on naming Aliphatic and Aromatic Hydrocarbons. I was able to answer the item given to me, so that's good. For Theories of Personality, we finished the lecture about Karen Horney's theory. Lastly, for Scientific Writing, we had consultation about our research papers. Some groups were given really ruthless criticism and scolding by the prof (for valid reasons, I believe). It's a good thing I am grouped with very responsible people and not dead weights so I like to think that our professor appreciates us.

When I got home, I didn't even get to rest and went straight to my uncle's birthday party. Everyone liked the cheesecake I made, so that's great. When I got home at around 9PM, I took a 30-minute break and wrote a script for a presentation tomorrow on Philo-Sci.

I'm really really tired and I can feel my brain throbbing right now. I can't wait to go o sleep.

I'll just list down what I did and will be doing today because I'm too lazy to elaborate in a narrative form. I started working at 8AM and I'll probably end around 7PM.

Went through our paper in Philo-Sci and prompted my members to do the powerpoint

Answered an activity for Organic Chem

Edited the introduction of our research paper for Scientific Writing

Reviewed five lessons in Cognitive Psych in preparation for our final exams this coming Thursday

Later, these are the things I still have to do:

Review Aliphatic and Aromatic Nomenclature for a recitation in Organic Chem tomorrow

Browse through my notes in Theories of Personality in preparation for final exams (idk when)

Bake a burnt basque cheesecake for my uncle's birthday tomorrow
