hey howdy hey friends and fiends, i'm making the official announcement now i guess:

starting NEXT friday (august 7th), i'll be posting the next installment of who ya gonna call?, my until dawn ghost hunting au 🥳 i'm SO excited, you don't even KNOW, especially since this one's been cooking for...uh...UHHH...a minute. 😬

this au was meant to be a fun little jokey thing that distracted me when i was working on the (almost)s, and never in a million years did i imagine y'all would have as much fun with it as you did 🥹 it's been a few years since the CREEPs have fully been in action, but wouldn't you know it, i'm chipping away at another longfic and oh, did i need them to come back for a reprise!!!

for those of you who like following along with a story as it updates, i'll be posting a few chapters every friday - haven't quite decided the number yet, but it'll be at least 2! - and if you're someone who prefers to read a story once it's complete, all i'll say is you're going to have a halloween treat waiting for you ;P

ANYWAY now i'm just rambling, but it really does mean the world that you guys stick around and read my stuff, and from the bottom of my heart, i really, truly, genuinely hope you'll have as much fun reading this fic as i had planning and writing it.

Except…now the refrigerator’s in on it, and there’s a FRANTIC email from a desperate family begging them for help, and what other choice do they have?! It seems like the CREEPs have one more job to get through before they can retire from the ghost game for good.

But ghosts aren’t the worst thing waiting for them in Hackett’s Quarry. Not by a long shot.

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

My little brother insisted if I was going to post about him, he wanted a cut of the "profits". When I explained to him that Tumblr isn't monetized, and is pretty pointless, he and my older brother pointed out that he'd still be bringing me "fame and notoriety" if the post got "big". So we agreed, if the post hit 10k notes, which seemed extremely farfetched and silly at the time, I'd take my little brother out for sushi (his favorite food) and let him eat as much as he wants.

I guess God wanted the little robot to enjoy some sushi 🍣 🥲
