Who was the "real Jim Morrison"?
It's unlikely that anyone who never actually met Jim during his mortal life could find out the complete answer to that complicated question. However, we can piece together a pretty good picture from the puzzle pieces given to us by his close friends and colleagues. Some friends remember him mostly as being quiet, others remember his "wild side". The one personality attribute that the majority of his close friends can agree on is "sense of humor".
Jim loved to joke, smile and make others smile. He may be known for his sullen and serious persona, but make no mistake...Jim was a prankster at heart.
I love this! I love reading about his sense of humor and I love that pretty much everyone that knew him agrees that Jim’s sense of humor was one of his best attributes.

Went record shopping today and found this in the Strange Days (original 1967 album). It looks like someone stuck a 1968 card in a 1967 album!
