Apologies for the inconsistency. I'm still finding my way with this daily drawing thing. I need something that doesn't change subject too much. And Wikipedia just does not quite offer that. And how wonderful cats are, they might just be a little bit too obvious. So now I've come up with a new idea. One in which I can actually practice drawing the subjects I like to draw: characters. My new subject: Dances. I'm going to practise drawing movement by drawing different dance styles.
Today: the Allemande
New tactic: I need some direction for subjects for my daily drawings: Wikipedia's daily article. Today, 28/11/13: Niels_Bohr
2nd drawing today; making up for skipped days. "Just so you know, this toy is mine."
Gee, it's easy to skip a day (or two)! Today Suzy's first outdoor adventure: "I think I might just stay an indoor cat a little bit longer..."
Introduction to a collar: "What have you put around my neck!?! Again?! Even when I have taken it off 10 times already?!"
Suzy with some colour added.
I came across some old drawings of mine in simplifying line style. I quite like the style, so I figured I'd give it another go.
So... today I figured I would do some life drawing. And then the subject did not want to sit still (husbands -_-")! Leaving me with only a very rough sketch. Great opportunity to create something with black&white strong light! And... that still looked rather boring.. After that I just did some experimenting with Photoshop functions... Well, let's just say that I'll draw Suzy again tomorrow.

I've set up a Tumblr page for my Art Portfolio!
Today: a Suzy who has so much energy that she doesn't know what to do with it. I did say she was going to be a favourite subject. Long live the PS Smudge Tool.

Day 1: Meet Suzy, my 4 months old kitten who is sooo cuddly, but has oh so sharp nails! Cats and kittens are such an inspirational theme. She will most likely be my favorite subject during my daily drawing project.
Attempt to get through an artist block
Ever felt the need for some support from other people to help you further in life? That is where I am today. I would like to make my art my life, but I just can’t seem to make the actual step. I am sure most artists will recognise the feeling of doubt and insecurity.
With the help of my sister I have put together a plan of making a daily drawing and to share it with the world. Just to get me to pick up that pencil, to get into the mindset of creating.
Today is day one.
Time to break through my wall. I love drawing. I love creating. It is my passion. No time for more excuses. Time to make art!
