I'M NOT READY TO SAY GOODBYE 😭😭😭
Fuck yeah they do 😭😭
Ngl I'm probably gonna wait to see people's reactions to see if I really need to prepare myself for a bad ending.
My heart isn't ever gonna be ready but like

Holy shit and here I thought the Facebook blood bound community was bad
Me: *finally gets the courage to make friends and joins a group chat*
Me: *gets completely ignored, so tries to initiate the conversation*
5 users at the same time: *are typing*
Me: *stops typing, waiting until they're done before trying again*
Same 5 users: *are typing*
Me: *waits again for them to finish, before trying again*
Same 5 users: *are typing*
Me: *starts overthinking and never ends up sending a message*

Oh shi-
Uhhhhhh
1) Writing, but that was probably obvious lol I enjoy writing short stories and poems, but my inspiration has been all over the place.
2) Memes. I'm not kidding when I say I have a dumbass sense of humor, I'll laugh at almost anything.
3) Baking. I can't cook much, but boi do I make some good cinnamon rolls 😤👌
4) Meeting new people. Honestly I love making new friends! but I'm too scared to talk to new people
5) Traveling. Honestly I just love new experiences in general. I really want to travel to other countries in the future or maybe just stick with states since that'll probably be more affordable
Excuse me WHAT?!
If this is foreshadowing I swear to god-
😤😭😭
I really hope I'm just looking too deep into this and/or I'm just that stupid
😭😭
You already know I'm gonna replay this book just for Kayden
Simpler Times [F!Kayden x MC]
Book: The Royal Masquerade
Summary: This is an alternative ending to the royal masquerade, because Kayden and mc deserve their own happy ending. This follows the dream Kayden had of opening a bakery with mc.
Pairing: F!Kayden x mc
Rating: PG 13
Word Count: 1,404
Notes: Honestly I'm such a softie, I just want them to live happily ever after. This is going to start off on chapter 16 during the party, after the steamy scene pixelberry blessed us with, but before Renza fucks everything up that night. I'm going to refer to mc as Julia and Kayden is a woman, because I'm a bisexual mess for her and in my opinion we need more love for her. I'm posting this now just in case we get a bad ending tomorrow and need a wholesome one.

The figures dancing around Julia were faceless. The rest of the party was a blur to her. Her mind constantly drifted back to the time she had spent with her lover. As she was spun on the dance floor, her gaze fell on Kayden leaning against the wall across the room. The moment their eyes met, a small knowing smirk formed on her lips. That simple action alone caused Julia's face to heat up, her gaze immediately returned to her dance partner.
How much longer did she have to hold this facade of caring for the crown? She never wanted this, any of it. Sure she was grateful for the luxury she received as the queen of Cordonia, but if it meant she could never marry the person she loves she would give up every single luxury. The celebration finally ended. Julia bid her farewell to the guests with a polite smile, turning to leave. She found Kayden outside right by the carriage waiting to take her back home. "Meet me in my room as soon as possible." She whispered, earning a small nod in response from the brunette.
The moment Julia returned home, she changed out of the elegant gown. She now wore a simple beige dress. However, the crown remained on her head. She sat down on the mattress, her hands folded on her lap. It felt like an eternity waiting for Kayden to return, but she couldn't place blame on the woman. It would have seemed suspicious if they had traveled in the same carriage. She stood up as soon as she heard footsteps approaching her bedroom. Kayden stepped inside the bedroom, Julia brushed passed her to glance at the hallway. No one was in sight, a soft sigh of relief left her lips. The door made a soft click as Julia closed it. Her gaze finally turned to Kayden. "You called for me, your highness." Although Kayden's tone was more so on the serious side, there was an unmistakable hint of mischief in her eyes. "I called you for this..." Julia carefully took off the crown, holding it in between her and Kayden. "I don't want this." She placed it down on the nightstand. Kayden glanced between the crown and Julia. "I'm not sure I'm following." She said with hesitation laced in her voice. Kayden was only playing stupid because she feared what Julia was getting at.
"I don't want to be queen. It was pushed upon me so suddenly I wasn't given much of a choice until it was too late. No one ever stopped to ask me what I want and right now all I want is to be with you." Julia stepped forward, hold onto Kayden's hands, interlocked their fingers. "I want to be with you until my last breath. Just the two of us. Just...ran away with me."
Kayden raised an eyebrow, she was left perplexed by Julia's last statement. "What?" Julia's grip on Kayden's hands tightened slightly, her eyes pleading with her dark brown ones. "We can leave together, live in a small town, open a bakery just like you dreamed of. I just want you to be by my side and if me being queen puts that in jeopardy, then to hell with it. Being queen was never my dream." Tears began to form in her eyes as she glanced up at her lover. "My dream had always been to live happily and right now the person who brings me the most happiness is about to be taken because of some title I never asked for." Kayden let go of one of Julia's hands, cupping her face. Julia immediately nuzzling against the warmth of her palm.
Watching tears run down Julia's cheeks, broke Kayden. She gently began to wipe away the tears with her thumb. She let go of Julia momentarily, only to wrap her arms around her waist. She leaned down and pressed her forehead against Julia's. The way Julia looked at her, made it nearly impossible for Kayden to refuse her wishes. "I love you so much Julia Rosario and if holding the title of being queen has only brought you pain, then...let's run off together. While I'm by your side, I will do everything I can to make sure you're never unhappy." Their lips interlocked as soon as Kayden murmured that promise.
They kissed with such passion and desperation, almost as if they both feared this would be their last kiss. Julia wrapped her arms around Kayden's neck, pulling her even closer. Their bodies pressed closely together. A shaky breath left Julia's lips as Kayden pulled away and began to leave kisses down her jawline to her neck. "W-wait." She grabbed onto Kayden's shoulders, pushing her away slightly. "As much as I'd love to keep going, we should get ready. I want to leave tonight."
A soft grin formed on Kayden's lips. "As the queen wishes." Julia chuckled softly. "You know I won't be queen anymore once they discover I'm gone tomorrow morning." Kayden gave a small shrug in response. "That may be the case, but you will always be the queen in my eyes...my queen." Julia's face began to heat up, she bit back a grin. Kayden pulled her in for one last, soft kiss before she finally began to pack for their trip. They packed the essentials, extra clothing, enough coin to keep them going for a few months, simple medical supplies, etc. Once she finished packing her bag, Julia wrote her first and final command as queen. She gave the crown to Hunter, made sure the damage caused by the fire be fixed, and Renza Fierro be looked into for any involvement with Cyrus in the assassination of Queen Kendra. She signed her name underneath her requests. She wrote a following letter for her sister, detailing how much she loved and appreciated everything she's done for her. She wrote about the gratitude she had for Vasco as well. The last statement she wrote wished Annalisa and Percival luck in their marriage. Julia blinked back tears as she folded the letter and placed the Jade mirror over it.
Kayden remained quiet as Julia wrote the letters. Only speaking up once Julia placed the first note in the nightstand along with the crown. "No one outside the capital will know your face, but they will most certainly know your last name." Kayden had a point, Julia wouldn't be able to use her last name, unlike Kayden. She weighed her options for a moment before a soft smile formed on her lips. "Then give me yours." That statement caught Kayden off guard, a light blush formed on her cheeks. "I was hoping I would eventually have the honor, I just never expected it to be now." Kayden murmured softly, glancing away from Julia before she cleared her throat. "So about preparing for tonight." She continued, turning her attention to preparing a plan for their escape.
As soon as they were a handful of hours away from sunrise, they began their escape. Thanks to Kayden's sorcery they were able to leave through the window. Julia tugged on the hood of her dark green cloak as soon as they reached the floor. They made their way to the stable. Julia stood off to the side as Kayden got her horse ready. She stepped out of the stable, leading the brown mare outside. She motioned Julia to walk over and helped her get on the horse. Julia scooted forward to make room for Kayden, who got on her horse without a problem. She leaned against Julia, gripped onto the reins and began to lead the horse away from the buildings and into the forest.
They spent a week traveling, stopping in any nearby town once nightfall arrived to sleep for the night. Until they reached a small town at one of the ends of the country. The bright sun of the new morning shined on them. Kayden got off the horse first and helped Julia down afterward. Kayden interlocked their hands while she held onto the reins of the horse in her opposite hand. They glanced at each other for a brief second, smiling softly before they took in their new surroundings. They walked through the marketplace. A few merchants and townspeople doing their morning shopping waved and greeted the pair. No one would recognize their faces here.
Finally, a fresh start.
We're gonna be fed well tomorrow afternoon bois
I haven't written any sort of fanfiction in years, but if their really isn't going to be a book 2 for TRM and we're given a bad ending, I'm writing my own ending. Kayden and mc deserve to have their own goddamn happy ending owning a bakery 😤
