Wait this is actually a really sad thought because in terms of how that usually goes, it's almost always a family member like a parent or sibling, of which Leon had none since he is (presumably, assuming we're rocking with the OG lore for sake of this headcanon/scenario) an orphan. So all the other guys could've been surrounded with their families while Leon continues to stand there because he knows no one is coming for him. And after like 10 mins passes, Krauser wordlessly takes pity on him and taps him out and then takes Leon out for drinks later to celebrate-- but they don't talk about the fact that Leon was alone.
