So can non-disabled people stop doing that thing where they act like it’s morally righteous to force yourself to work while you’re sick and assume taking sick days automatically equates to laziness. Any time now. That’d be great

#saw this when i went to log in and. yeah.#so i'm not disabled but last year i went through this thing where i was having weird leg pains that made it hard to walk #i assumed i tore a muscle or something #but anyway like a lot of people these days i live with my parents despite having a job bc things are so expensive #and i kept getting into arguments with them bc i was taking sick days because i could barely walk 2 yards without having to stop #and they wanted me to 'be responsible' and go to work #anyway turns out i was severly anemic and had to be hospitalized so. there was a reason i was staying home #text
