"Now, I know this may look bad..." Said the sword-wielding knight blocking the only exit in the room to the distinctly dragon-shaped creature. "But I swear I didn't know you were in here."
"Whomst the hell are you and why are you in MY turf?" The dragon shaped creature says, it sounds.... kinda young actually, probably mid to late teens
"Gawain (not the famous one), and, well...I don't mean to alarm you, but I was in pursuit of a, uh, ne'er do well." In an effort to diffuse the tension he himself had created by bursting through the door sword in hand, the knight dropped what remained of his defensive stance and let go of his sword. It remained in place, hovering in the air, and Gawain gave it a glare and a whispered, "Chopper, come on, drop it."
The already orange sword began to glow and transformed into a floating, lizard-like creature. It grumpily floated back to the knight's shoulder and crawled into the hood of his cloak, all the while making distinct noises of complaint. Gawain held up his now-empty hands and tried to smile with just his eye lights.
"Sorry about her. I, um...don't suppose you've seen any suspicious persons in the area?"
"Not lately no, not anyone I'd consider suspicious anyway" The draconic individual shrugs, leaning against the wall, his long tail swishing idly
"...you know what? That's a fair answer." Gawain - as a haunted suit of cursed armor talking to a dragon-esque meta kid - conceded with a placating turn of his hands. One man's weird was another man's average Tuesday.
"Let me rephrase, then: Have you seen any suspiciously glowing persons in the area?" The knight asked. The creature still sulking in his hood made a scoffing sound of laughter at the description.
"Ohhhh yeah that narrows it down, yeah some glowing person went that way" The boy points left

People here in Seattle are pretty nice to us Metas, there'll always be those who are jerks but most people don't really bat an eye if you have extra limbs or sneeze fire or something.
