Hey!! Here’s an update on folk punk flea!

1. ⁠Meet one of our evening performers, Skribe!

Garage folk from the land of pleasant living. One man band complete with a guitar, old landline phone, oil cans, a suitcase drum, and much more!

2. Meet one of our vendors, Pup.444 !

pup444 is a linocut artist from maryland, who uses queer and nature theming and dog motifs in their work. they sell linocut patches and prints along with upcycled clothing. they also have crochet goods like hats, bags, and stuffed animals. products are made with thrifted/recycled materials.

3. Meet one of our garden performers, Lemon Valley!

Lemon Valley is a small queer folk punk band made up of Noel (banjolele) , Sam (omnichord), and Alex (percussion) ! They started this project back in August and are excited to share their twinkly, beepin & boopin folk punk tunes with you!

4. Meet one of our vendors, krow.goddess ! 🎃

Greetings, my name is Morgan, but I also go by Morgue or Krow! Any pronouns are fine with me. I’m a lifelong creative, and a self proclaimed “Jack of all trades, but master of none.” Chaos reigns. Lately I’ve been making traditional pen and ink drawings, hand drawn stickers, handmade patches, and handmade pins. I enjoy sewing, customizing second hand goods, making collages, and making jewelry too. Be sure to come out to the market to see my eclectic wares for yourself. DIY til I die. Hails!

Yes, the first weekend of may we are playing Moonrunners!

I've been a musician my whole life but lyrics have always been difficult for me, do you have any tips/ways you get started? i absolutely LOVE the lyrics in Anarcho Loser Part 2 and Neutral Spirit Hotel 🫶

I usually just look up the chords to songs that have inspired me and try to write my own lyrics over them because that makes it so much easier to figure out rhythm- I also only write songs when I’m upset lol
