Thinking about Amber in season 4 and her subtle character growth since season 1. Not only her relationship with Jesse but her relationship with the rest of the Gemstones. Going from making Kelvin take off his boots in the house to pushing Jesse to make up with him and defend him, her helping Judy and BJ, standing up to Eli, subtly emphasizing her own importance in Jesse’s life as a hidden figure. She may not be as front and center in the church as Aimee-Leigh was but she sure as hell is growing into a stronger matriarch role.
