When everyone was asleep, i grabbed the phone from the trash, and opened the video. i took a deep breath before i pressed play. after it was over, i put it back in the trash, like it wasn’t even touched. then i drove home. i couldn’t fall asleep, so i decided to do research on the murders. And just like Alice said, he was hot, but i must’ve fallen asleep. When i woke up, Alice was calling me. i answered it; “Hey.” i said, yawning a bit. “Hey, want us to pick you up?” Alice asked, as i bit the inside of my cheek. “No, i don’t think i will go with today.” i said, as i rubbed my eyes. “Are you sick or do you just not want to go with?” Alice asked. “I think i will just skip today. Maybe get caught up on some sleep.” i said, sitting up. “Okay, well have fun i guess?” i laughed before Alice ended the call. I got up off the bed, and took a shower, before i changed into

When they came out, Alice told me to follow them which led us at a motel. I helped JJ and Alice restrain August to a the motel bed. Then i followed them to a house. i stood at the steps waiting. “I think i just met Blues sister.” Alice said, before the door opened. “Not often we get visitors out this way.” The woman said, holding the door open. “Can i help you with something?” She added, as she finally saw me. I brought my hand up as a hello, “Missis Blue?” Alice asked, making the woman look at Alice. “Only to the IRS. Everyone around here calls me Mama.” JJ nodded. “Okay, uh, Mama.” JJ started, “Do you mind if we ask you a few questions about your son?” ‘Mama’s expression changed, moving out the way, “Come on in.” JJ and Alice went first as i walked up the steps before i walked inside, looking around.

‘Mama’ left the room as JJ and Alice started talking, while i was looking around in the living room. Soon JJ looked at Sadie, as i smiled at her, raising a hand. ‘Mama’ came out with milk and cookies. “Well don’t be shy, i baked them myself.” i shook my head, “Cookie JJ?” Alice asked, “Oh, I’m, uh, I’m a celiac.” JJ said, as i rolled my eyes, sitting next to Alice on the couch. “That’s new.” Alice said as JJ drank some of the milk. i debated whether or not to drink the milk. “Here.” Alice said handing me the glass, which i hesitantly took, before i drank some. After i put the glass down, shaking my head. “No thanks.” i said, giving a small smile to ‘Mama’. “Okay, so, um, Missis,” JJ said looking at ‘Mama’, “Mama, we’ve been investigating you son, and i just want to start off by saying that: we come in with completely open minds. We just— We want to hear your side of the story.” JJ added, as ‘Mama’ took a deep breath before speaking; “All them things they said about him was lies. And they drove him to his death.” Alice was confused, and said; “So, you’re saying he was innocent?” i shrugged: “i think he is inno-“ Alice quickly put her hand over my mouth muffling the rest. “Fuck you.” i said after Alice took her hand away. “He was acting in accordance with his nature.” ‘Mama’ said as i looked at Sadie. “You want to punish a sweet boy for that?” i looked back at ‘Mama’ after giving Sadie a smile. “He is sweet.” I said looking down at my boots to see one untied. “It sounds like you think your son was pretty misunderstood.” Alice said as i leaned down to tie it again. “Blue loved all living creatures. Loved ‘em to death.” JJ was shocked. as i finished tying my boot JJ spoke: “um, Mama, i don’t mean to be rude, can i use your restroom?” ‘Mama’ sighed, pointing at the hall. “Down the hall and to the left.” JJ nodded as she started to say other things but i saw Bradley standing across from me, holding his finger up to his lips, as if to tell me to be quiet. i looked at JJ who just left the room.

“So, um, after Blue died, what happened next?” Alice asked, as i fixed my jacket. “Those boys and girls he took, you gotta understand, every one of them was a sinner.” i nodded, as Alice kept the conversation going. “So you don’t deny that he killed them?” i sighed, “Punished.” Me and ‘Mama’ said, “He punished them. They got what was theirs to come.” ‘Mama’ added. “Child, you’ve barely touched your milk.” i was confused on who ‘Mama’ was talking to. “I don’t like it sorry.” i said, as Alice took a drink of her milk, making ‘Mama’ amused. “Where did you bury Bradley?” Alice asked, making ‘Mama’ a little bit mad. “Who’s asking?” ‘Mama’ asked, making Alice look at me, then back at ‘Mama’. “I— I..” Alice stuttered. “We wanted to pay our respects.” i finished. “No cemetery would have him, so I buried the urn with Baby’s ashes under the fallen oak out back, where he used to play.” i nodded, “Well i think i have everything i need.” Alice said getting up as i felt dizzy. “But you haven’t even finished your milk.” ‘Mama’ said pointing at the glass of milk, where Alice grabbed the glass, drinking some more of it, before i passed out.

I woke up, to Alice trying to escape. “What the fuck happened?” i asked, slowly opening my eyes, seeing that me and Alice were next to each other. “I don’t know.” Alice cried as i heard the ‘cursed’ video playing. “No, no, don’t watch that!” Alice said, making me look, to see Sadie watching the video holding a knife. As Sadie noticed Alice and me, she started walking towards us. “So yeah i already watched the video.” i said, pulling at my restraints. “Y/N really?!” Alice said. “Yes really. And guess what,” i said looking at Alice. “I don’t regret it.” i added, laughing slightly, as Sadie was now in front of us holding the phone up. i didn’t bother closing my eyes, but Alice did. “Open your eyes.” Sadie told Alice holding the knife up. Alice shook her head, crying.

Sadie didn’t like that and stabbed Alice, making Alice scream out, opening her eyes, and watching the rest of the video. When the video was over, Sadie turned the phone off, walking behind Alice, holding the knife up to her throat. “See you on the other side.” I said, making Sadie smile a bit at me. i was able to get out of the restraints, before i got up off the chair, stretching a bit. Alice started to beg Sadie to let her go which worked. Sadie got Alice free, as i started to walk downstairs, and outside. i waited for Alice, as she wasn’t far behind. I was standing near the ‘shrine’, before Alice and i started to dig. I stopped, and stood up.

“Y/N what are you doing?” Alice asked, grabbing the urn. i didn’t say anything, making Alice shake her head. I looked over where Bradley was standing. “Can you believe those heathens cremated me?” Bradley said, making Alice look over. “If there was ever a face that deserved an open casket, right?” Alice still had the phone in her hand which I grabbed the phone, and put it in my pocket. “Well, why don’t you come on over here, hon? Let me see what those insides look like.” Bradley said bringing the cigarette up to his lips. Alice smiled, before getting up, and walking over to noose. I smiled slightly, before JJ ran outside, seeing Alice. “Hi, Jeremiah Jones.” Alice said before chuckling. JJ walked closer to her before she stepped off the stool, hanging herself. JJ got her down trying to wake her up, but she was dead. I walked towards the steps as JJ walked to the urn, searching for the phone. Bradley stood far behind JJ, before he lit his lighter up, to get JJ’s attention, which worked as JJ looked at him. “Now, did you really think a 20-dollar-an-hour classified ad psychic actually knew how to dispel a curse?” Bradley asked, as JJ noticed me sitting on the steps, making Bradley look back at me, before looking back at JJ, and taking his glasses off. “Well, that’s the problem right there, man. You guys just keep on making the same fucking mistakes. I mean, every fiber in your body, told you not to watch that video. I mean, fuck, Kelvin practically begged you.” I grabbed my pocket knife. “But you kids, you just.. You think you know better.” Bradley said, “How bad can it be?” i said, “Curses aren’t real, huh?” Bradley said, bringing the cigarette up to his lips, soon bringing it away. “Why don’t you ask your dead fucking sister?” Bradley said pointing at Alice, “Oh wait, you can’t.” i said making JJ mad. “He’s lucky that he is already dead.” I got up walking next to Bradley.

“So let me tell you whats gonna happen, either two things.” JJ continued to show no fear, visibly. “I’m going to possess you, I’m going to walk you up onto that roof, and then, uh, I’m going to throw you off.” Bradley said, putting his glasses back on. “Or lovely Y/n, will kill you.” Bradley said wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me close, before he kissed me lightly, before pulling away looking at JJ but still holding me close. “Anyway, i really want you to look at the positive here. You always wanted to be insta-famous. I mean, this will get you prime time on every news channel in America.” Bradley said, letting go of me. “Well, buckle up, because here comes the pain.” JJ smiled slightly. “There’s only uh, one problem with your plan, Bradley.” I hummed, “I never watched your fucking tape.” i sighed, walking up to him, stabbing him in the stomach, making him fall, as i didn’t stop there, i stabbed him over and over again, before i slid the knife across his throat, as he died there. i stood up, blood all over my jacket, shirt and face. i looked at Bradley who stood there amused. “You look so much hotter when you got blood on your face.” i laughed before he pulled me close before he leaned in kissing me which i gladly kissed back.

Tears rolled down my face, as Richie shook his head. “Not really.” My hands went over the wound, after Richie pulled the knife out. I noticed he sent me the address to Stu Macher’s house. “Why?” i asked as i managed to back away.

“Motherfu-!!!” You shouted at the paperwork in front of you. You’d been working on it for hours now, and it was getting to the point of the frustration with tears. Speaking of which, started to drip down your cheeks as you lay your head down on the work. You didn’t care if it got wet, screw Erickson.

Hoffman opened the door, and looked around, expecting you on the couch, reading. He was fairly surprised that you weren’t in your normal spot at this time of night, so he just assumed you were in bed. Then he noticed the kitchen light was on. Oh, no.

Taking his shoes off, he set his briefcase by the door, shut and locked it, and set off towards the light. Getting there, he tripped on the cat, not being able to see it in the darkness of the house. “God dammit, sorry, baby,” he apologized to the cat, but his cover was blown.

“Mark? Is that you?” You called from the kitchen, voice sounding rather strangled, like you had been crying. His concern level rose to 50, rising to 100 when he walked in to see your tear streaked face.

“Yeah it’s me. Hon, what happened? Are you okay?” He pulled a chair up next to you, and let you snuggle into his chest, hugging you tight. Your muffled voice could be heard from under the layers of fabric and snot over your face.

“Yeah, I’m okay. It’s just this stupid fucking report,” You peeled yourself away to point angrily at the paperwork. Hoffman had to stifle a laugh when he looked at your face. Covered in tears and snot, eyebrows furrowed in anger, you were adorable.

“Hey, hey, we can worry about that in the morning. You need to shower or bathe and then rest,” he cocked his eyebrow at your frustrated face, sighing in relief when you nodded.

“Can you carry me upstairs?”

“No, you aren’t a baby.”

“Screw you.”

“Fine.”

You scowled, but trudged up the stairs for a shower. You got into the bathroom, and undressed, before yelling for a pair of PJs and a towel. Hoffman scoffed at you, but got the things you asked for. And then got into the shower with you.

“Mark! Get out!!”

“No, I’m gross and dirty too, give me the shampoo.”

“Absolutely Not.”

“Ok. I won’t give you the soap.”

“God damn you and your tall ass. Fine, here.”

He handed you the soap and you handed him the shampoo, so you two didn’t end this argument in bloodshed. Yayyy.

Drying off took some time, but Hoffman and you were clean and ready for bed. You turned out the lights and curled into him, nearly totally relaxing. He gently rubbed your back, and kissed you good night.

The cat woke you up an hour later, crying cause her parents abandoned her outside of the room.
