If i were an animator for wha, i too would fall in love with brushbuddy and give it more screentime
"I asked chatgpt" ok well I asked Sherlock Holmes and I got a monologue that contained two tangents, four accidental insults, the answer to my question, and three homoerotic comments about his flatmate
It's still so funny to me that hobbit society has technology like pony-traps and handkerchiefs and post offices but the realms of Men and Elves, at least, are very much still in their version of the High Middle Ages. I would kill for a scene where Aragorn starts doing the whole Galavant thing - we shall meet when the night air grows as chill as the depths of Moria and the setting sun colours the sky that particular shade of blue as to recall to us the sinking of Numenor into the very Sea Itself - and Pippin just goes 'have none of you guys ever learned to use a freaking clock'.
One of the things I love most about Lord of the Rings is that it's a story about people choosing to do the right thing simply because it is right. Like, there's nothing special about Frodo except that he decides to carry the ring. He's not particularly better equipped than any other hobbit, he's just the one who says he'll do what has to be done. And throughout the story, so many of our characters do the same. Someone has to do this, so I will.
sorry but someone assuming you have "left a fandom" when you don't post about it a lot anymore feels like bilbo coming home to the sackville bagginses having him presumed dead and selling all his stuff. girl i was just on a little quest????
Post season 2 finale. Vox is learning from his mistakes. Or is he.
You know, I wonder if Rosie thought Alastor was asking for her soul at first. Similar to how Charlie and Vaggiɇ (since the name change, she’s getting the Biltzø treatment from now on) assumed the same thing when making deals with him.
“What’s in it for me? I don’t work for free. You want help? Well, you know the fee!”
“I will not reward a snake like you!”
“You’ll watch them die unless you do!”
“Liar! You wouldn’t dare!”
“Quid Pro Quo, it’s only fair.”
“You really are a demon, pet.”
The whole scene, she was incredibly reluctant to give Alastor what he wanted in return for his assistance. Which is why I think she was acting on the assumption he was using HER idea of a fee.
He needed her help to raise the ranks of Hell, and he paid the highest price possible for it. And now she needs his help for whatever secret reason that may be. So it stands to reason the same would be required of her now the agreement was flipped on its head.
But then—
“You knew my game the day we met.”
JUST LIKE THAT, with a show of his broken cane and a reference to their old song, Rosie’s smiling. And not even reluctantly. She’s hook, line, and sinker.
He isn’t asking for her soul, he just wants his powers without the added strings of indentured servitude. In fact, he’s implicitly offering to keep doing the exact same thing as before, albeit with less leverage on her side.
Whatever her master plan is, he’s all in. The cards may be out her hands, but he doesn’t mind letter her peak at his.
They’re scheming together now, your honour!
I love that even though she came in self-righteous and scolding, THIS is the face Rosie makes when Alastor finally turns her words back around on her. He's right: she DID know his game from the day they met, and she knew he was the one from the moment she heard his voice. They are birds of an awful, awful feather - and she can't deny that he played her game and won!

"The funniest Alastor scene doesn't exist-"
Final four songs revealed! It seems we are getting:
One more Vox song (YES!! I'm loving his songs this season! What's not to love?!)
One duet between Sir Pentious and Sera (or at least with them as the protagonists)
One more song with Charlie and Vaggie
One song with Charlie and Emily
These last two have the interpreters cut off so they might or might not be duets.
Not sure how I'm feeling about Hear our Voice as the last number since I do remember it briefly appears on the trailer, but I hope it measures up to the Finale in S1!
