Pandora wasn’t quite sure what had made her sign up for the blind date, especially considering she wasn’t interested in actually dating anyone or becoming someone’s girlfriend. No, she just thought it would be nice to get to know someone new, plus she did love a nice outing - or at least she thought she would and then she found out the date was at a zoo. A zoo. Of all places, a zoo. Unbelievable. She was furious and she had a good mind to stay at home too, but Pandora was anything but rude - or so she liked to think - so she couldn’t possibly stand someone up especially as the destination was no fault of their own. She would go on the date, but she was going to make it known that she was unhappy with the choice of place. The blonde had made sure she put her white t-shirt on with ‘freedom for animals’ scrawled across the front in big black letters. Pandora arrived at the zoo a few minutes late though she put that down to the zoo being two towns across from her house. She supposed she could have used magic to travel but she enjoyed getting the buses every now and again despite the funny looks she always received from the muggles. As she arrived at the meeting place she saw a familiar face. “Oh see here, see here, what handsome face am I to be met with? Golly Gee, it’s Xavier Lockely.” She announced in a sing-song voice. “How is my dear friend today?” She asked smiling as she came to stand beside him, linking their arms together. “I believe you’re my date Mr.” The blonde looked up at the male with a bright smile before remembering she wasn’t happy to be here. “No, wait, Xav… I must admit I’m displeased about being here. More than displeased, I am infuriated to be here, but please don’t take any offense, it’s not you - it’s this place.” She paused narrowing her eyes as she looked around before raising her voice. “It’s these monsters!” That had gained a few stares. Pandora then unbuttoned her cardigan to reveal her top proudly. “Are you ready to go in?” She asked smiling as she swung her bag back and forth in her hands.
Hearing her quirky words that always managed to bring a smile to his face and brighten his usually dull days, Xavier turned on his heel to face his date with a grin, though he couldn’t help but internally laugh at the irony. “I always knew I’d get you on a date, Panda-roo.” He teased using his old nickname for her, loving the fact that he found themselves in this situation. “May I say that you look might fine, Ms. Ross.” The grin on his lips grew wider as he stood there, yet as as she admitted her displeasure, their was a brief brake in his composure where his shoulders slumped in disappointment, not giving her chance to explain. “What monsters? Who should I find myself chasing down, I’ll challenge them to an old fashioned duel for milady’s happiness.”
