✮ Leonard. That name set off alarm bells for both herself and Epsilon, and Epsilon wanted to say something about it, but they both knew they shouldn’t tip their hand just yet. As York stepped forward she pointed her raised weapon somewhat more insistently; she wanted to trust him, but he wasn’t in that box just yet. Hadn’t been for a long time. Something told her he knew she wouldn’t shoot - but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t do something less lethal and far more humiliating.

He didn’t seem to know why they were keeping him as an open loose end either, apparently. Interesting. Maybe they had him tapped. Epsilon informed her that no, he wasn’t wired or bugged, not that he could identify, but she was still wary. Who knew what kind of information could get out? And they didn’t know the identity of whatever was buzzing around in his implants.

Play dumb. She’d get more of an explanation without tipping her hand too far that way, hopefully.
“Easy, we’re on the same side here,“ York said calmly as he raised his hands.
“Okay, we’ll answer whatever questions you want, chief,“ the former freelancer said.
“Hey, Leonard, you, uh, might want to get out here, I think someone wants to meet you,“ there was a moment of silence and york groaned.
“Okay, while I get where you’re coming from, I’m sure it’ll turn out fine--- no I don’t think she’d do that,“ He smiled behind his helmet and his posture relaxed.
“Thanks buddy, I owe you.”
‘You bet you do‘ came a voice identical to that of Epsilon. There was a flicker and then a white projection no more than a few inches high appeared.
‘s’up bitches, I’m Leonard, Leonard L. Church‘
“This is Leonard,”
