A bit more sun and crystal clear water to start your day :-) #flindersisland #seakayakingv
I got the chance to join Roaring 40s on Flinders Island to photograph their 6-day kayaking tour. A beautiful way to discover the biggest island in the Furneaux group north of Tasmania.

Truffle Lodge
I have been working with Laurelle and John, owners of Woodbridge on the Derwent, for several years now. Last year they opened an exciting new venture : Truffle Lodge. Situated on an idyllic stretch of the Derwent River, Truffle Lodge offers a unique glamping experience. Here are some of the images we created...

Stints, Forestier Peninsula, #tasmania
A few weekends ago I ran a photo workshop with Matthew Jones, one of Australia's top wildlife photographers, and Rob Blakers, my friend and business partner at Wild Island. We spent 3 days roaming the Tasman and Forestier Peninsula in Tasmania photographing birds, wombats, seals and even dolphins. The weather was challenging at times but we certainly made the most of it. Matthew's intimate knowledge of wildlife behaviors as well as a very skillful photographic technique made this workshop a fantastic experience. I have always had a soft spot for wildlife photography but spending 3 days along side Matthew improved my understanding and technique substantially. The master at work
I have photographed the Nant distillery in Tasmania since its renovation years ago. Despite all the issues that have surfaced in recent years I have to say that it has always been nice to work with them and I have always been paid on time, etc. I was pleased to be asked back by the new owners to shoot some fresh images for the Nant Distilling Company (www.nant.com.au). I spent a busy day shooting a range of images... the best ones below. The weather was perfect from fog in the morning to a nice sunset at the end of the day.Location studio...I don't think they'll use this one but I like it :-) Read the full article

Bellerive aerial photograph
Bellerive is a beautiful suburb of Hobart. It is on the 'eastern shore', as Hobartians call it, which means that you have to cross the Tasman Bridge from the city. The old part of Bellerive (in the middle of this picture) has some lovely historic houses with incredible views of Hobart and Mt Wellington. Read the full article
Container house
For my first shoot of 2019 I got to photograph this cool new house in Dover. Container houses have been trendy for a while now but the owners have been thinking very hard on how to maximise space in this pre-built house (the house was built off-site). Very cool.
