Ghost blinked slowly, looking up at the dark stormy sky. When had he gotten on the ground? He was standing next to Johnny one moment and pushing him aside to avoid a bullet the next. Fuck was he hit? He didn't feel anything. Shit he didn't feel anything. He felt cold and numb. He blinked, the rain was soaking him. His vision was blurry and he could swear he heard someone calling his name but for the life of him, he couldn't turn his head to look. He closed his eyes, hoping to get his bearings. He opens them again when he can hear someone, Johnny? call his name. He turned his head slowly to look at him, fuck why was it so hard to move? He gazes at his lover, his puppy. "…Johnny.." he wheezed, feeling like something was in his lungs. Blood? Fuck he was shot. From the feeling of it, in the chest. Where was the medic, could she save him in time? He tries for a smile, but drops it since he knows it can't be seen anyway. "Johnny.. What do you call a dog that meditates?" His voice wavered as he choked some, coughing blood up. Fuck, yeah, he was definitely shot. Coughing made everything hurt and made his vision swim. He blinked quickly to see Johnny. "Aware wolf.." he tried to chuckle at his shit joke, hopping it would bring a smile, even small, to Soaps face. He didn't want to die seeing the sobbing face of Johnny, his lovely Johnny.
