I WOULD LIKE TO FIRST give an apology to all my loyal readers whom I have disappointed by being unable to finish this fic at the time (2015-16). Real life sadly got in the way of blogging when I was 22 including my Mam suffering with ill health which later resulted in a stroke.

Backing up your Tumblr blog to WordPress

In this tutorial we’ll teach you how to make a copy of your Tumblr blog onto WordPress.com to act as a backup, or maybe just to say ‘thank u, next’ to Verizon’s Tumblr.

The first two steps don’t need to be followed if you already use WordPress.com.

1. Sign up for a WordPress.com account

You need a WordPress.com blog, simply follow the steps to select your username and confirm your account via email.

Be sure to choose a free domain and free plan for now.

2. Open WordPress Admin

Click on Import

Click on Other importers.

3. Select import from Tumblr

4. Allow Tumblr access

Click the ‘Connect to Tumblr to begin’ button. You may need to log into Tumblr if you haven’t already. Be sure to allow access to WordPress.com

5. Start the import!

Once authenticated you can select your Tumblr blog from the list of your blogs and click on ‘Import this blog’.

And you’re done, WordPress.com takes care of the rest and will create a copy of your posts onto your WordPress.com blog.

Incase the majority of my posts/fanfiction disappears in the snap I've signed up to tomblr.

I haven't been here a lot over the last few years because Uni took over my life but I'm back, (AND LOKI LIVES) and I really want to reconnect with my friends here on tumblr and start writing again.

It runs on Mighty Networks, which is more like Facebook than Tumblr, but we do have a lot of the same functionality. You can follow people, post photos and videos, there’s a dash for content etc..,

We have a working mobile app.

If you’re more a Marvel fan than a Tom fan, no worries. There’s a group in there for you (it’s basically a network within a network…kind of hard to explain, but I promise we have space for you too).

When signing up, you can use any name you want. Many people are using their Tumblr names.

If you don’t want your approximate location to show up on your posts, put in a fake location. Mighty Networks will try to guess based on your IP. I wish I could disable that, but I can’t.

Message @jennphoenix if you have questions/concerns, but please be aware I’m not doing anything to avoid the snap. If Tumblr gets rid of me on the 17th, I won’t fight it.
