There’s no shortage of great photographers in history who had made Paris their muse. There’s Atget, Doisneau and Cartier-Bresson, of course. Brassai, however, owned the city at night and his images of dark Parisian streets and alleyways (printed here in inky gravure) are as amazing to look at now as they were in the early 1930s.
