I’m sunk into the couch, way too full, breathing a little heavier than usual and pretending I don’t love it. You’re right there next to me, one hand slowly rubbing my belly, the other in my hair and I can’t help but let out a soft sigh.

You lean over and kiss me, slow and warm, and when you pull back you smirk a little.

“Mm… I can still taste it on you,” you mumble against my lips. “Sweet.”

I lick at the frosting at the corner of my mouth and roll my eyes. “Shut up,” I laugh softly, but I don’t move away. Im starting to feel my face flush.

Your kisses drift from my mouth down to my neck, slower now, more intentional. Your hand keeps rubbing my stomach, fingers spreading over the fullness there like you’re proud of it.

“Guess I’ll just have to make sure I get all of it,” you murmur, brushing your lips down my chest.

When you reach my bellybutton , you don’t rush. You press a slow kiss there, then another, letting your mouth linger just enough to make my breath hitch. Your hand slides a little lower, teasing without really doing anything yet, just enough to make me very aware of where you are.

“Worth it,” you add casually, like you’re talking about the food, but the way your lips keep moving lower says otherwise.

It starts soft. It always does. But the way your kisses keep drifting down, and the way your hands tighten just slightly at my hips, makes it very clear this isn’t staying innocent for long.
