amnesia fic. it is very rare that i am ever moved enough by hockey rpf to reflect on my own experiences of grief, despite all feelings holding hands in a big circle a lot of the time, but this fic truly made me stop and reflect on life. it also hit a certain point where i just had to SOB. like full-body shaking sobs. and not even sad crying? it was like relief and grief and joy and hope. a really really good cry. with gorgeous authorial voice

this is a fic, first and foremost, especially designed to absolutely tear my heart apart. it's a confession fic that is also a fic about what we think we deserve and when we are willing to take risks and the stubborn bullheadedness of love... i promise the agony is worth it. another angst fic that feels like the sadness is not a slog but rather the way through. just gorg
