Whatās wrong?
It's raining.
Thatās good.Ā [She smiles.]Ā My apartmentās not really that far away from here, so it wonāt take that long.
Do you want to go now?
Yes! I mean ... sure, why not. Nothing better to do.
"Not that fast, Jesus Christ," Isadora says, swiping the drink from Lolaās hands. She peers into the bottle for a moment before handing it back. "I donāt want you to get sick."
Sick? I'm not going to get sick.
I-I.. Should have thought to bring an umbrella. In the flurry of rain itās hard to tell of Lolaās⦠Condition and so Delilah shakes her head. She sighs. Iām sorry.
Oh, I'm fine. Just dandy. You're not wet, are you?
[Lola is sitting on her grave -- a bit corporeal but not quite there -- when it suddenly begins to pour] Ah, great.
Nature. People. Other things, too.
Um ⦠can you leave the graveyard? I can show you a bunch if you can. But if you canāt, I can still show you a couple.
I can leave, for the most part. We'll just walk slowly, yeah?
Photography.
Iām working on this new series of pictures, and people having been bothering me to post the next one a lot lately.
Photos of what? Can I see them?
Things involving my work, mainly.
Work? What kind of work?
"What makes you say that?" Isadora asks, popping open the can of Sprite. Reaching for the whiskey, she pours a bit in the can for herself, wrinkling her nose a bit at the smell. "If itās your first time, itās going to taste weird. You get used to it."
Oh, you know. This whole "corporeal" thing really takes a lot out of you. Anyway -- [she gulps down the mixture and begins to cough].

A film about a girl and her ghost friends
Quite a bit tired.
I really should get some sleep soon.
That's not good. What's keeping you up?
"Like I said, just me and some other kids my age." She reaches into the cooler herself, pulling out a dented can of Sprite.
"Itās not that bad, it just tastes weird the first time. But after a while you feel light and buzzy and it makes up for it. Try some."
Light and buzzy? That doesn't sound so out of the ordinary for me. [Lola peers into the cooler and extracts a can of lemonade and pours some into her whiskey bottle.]
Butā¦not just that. I donāt know what I would do without you, you know.
[Lola tries to hold back a grin] I know that ... but it's nice to hear, anyway.
"Well, yeah. And, I mean, I guess so, but no oneās found it so farā¦" Isadora chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, thinking. "It probably wasnāt the best idea, but weāve had worse."
"Yeah, they arenāt going to mind. You seem nervous, have you never drank before?"
[Lola smiles, but furrows her brow all the same] Who's "we"?
Well -- not exactly.
"Well, my friends and I used to drink together quite a bit, and after a while we discovered that it was kind of hard sneaking all that liquor and stuff back and forth from everyoneās house.Ā So, we decided to find a little hiding place for all of it, which should be right aroundā¦ā Isadora stopped in her tracks, then abruptly clapped her hands together and reached underneath an undistinguishable mass.Ā
"Here!" Isadora gestured to a cooler that was sitting not so subtly underneath a bush. "I know I said we were going to the store, but this is close enough. Go ahead, there should be lemonade in there."
Drink, like ... like alcohol? [Her eyes widen at the cooler] And you just keep it here, in the middle of everything?
And you're sure your friends won't mind?
Thanks.Ā [She chuckles.]
Well, how are you today, Miss Lola?
I'm alright. Could be better, could be worse. What about you?
"Okay, cāmon then." Motioning with her hand, Isadora prompted Lola to follow her, a small smile gracing her lips. "Itās not too far from here. A bunch of us have this little place where we⦠Well, youāll see."
[Lola followed with a skip in her step, feeling herself fade in and out of her corporeal self with each movement] Where you what? And who's "us"?
