nothing pisses me off more then antis not understanding the difference between pedophilia and predator.
Pedophilia; a paraphilia(psychiatric/mental disorder) containing sexual feeling towards children.
Predator; A person who ruthlessly exploits others. (that someone being vulnerable in ways that are physical or mental)
Someone being diagnosed with pedophilia doesn't automatically mean that they're a predator or that they want to hurt children. Predators ACTIVELY go out their way to harm people(or in this context children) for their own personal gain and desires.
MOST people with pedophilia try to get help through therapy and try to stay away from children to not act on their thoughts, Predators don't do that, they act on their impulsives.
So instead of attacking people with this paraphilia that are trying to get help how about we attack those who are actively harming and exploiting children.
& actually this brings me to my next point , Darkshippers, Lolicons, & Shotacons cannot be pedophiles or predators unless they have a sexual attraction to REAL, LIVING KIDS!
Fictional predators aren't a thing because of this(even though some antis will say otherwise)
The only way you can actually harm kids through fiction is if a fictional character is used to exploit a real life minor.
