I can’t describe the feeling of having readers who are so into your fic that in the comments they discuss theories, the characters’ behaviours, and where the story could be going. It always brings a big smile to my face and definitely keeps me going.

Sometimes it’s the only thing to use. Commas either aren’t appropriate or there are already more than enough commas in the sentence, or it’s for an addition that doesn’t need to be a standalone sentence.

Meticulously reading through a chapter SEVERAL times before you post it, looking for typos and corrections and finding none, and then reading it after posting to finding a glaring and annoying mistake will never not make me want to pull out my hair.
