Don't judge, please! But I've just eaten a bowl of carrot sticks with Franks Red Hot sauce sprinkled over them and two gherkins! Why? Cause I wanted to and honestly I loved it! And no I'm not pregnant or starving myself or on a ridiculous fad diet. Excited about the next odd combo :-)

Yesterday's love

I realised yesterday that I am actually surrounded by love. Not to sound like the narrator from Love Actually but love is all around me. I've been looking out my bedroom and there's a boy sitting on a bench holding this baby brother. They are laughing with one another, the older boy playing silly. It was really beautiful watching them. I have so many people looking after me. Day out with my ladies yesterday. It was a very significant day. Off now to meet some friends.

Memories

I remembered something today that I had forgotten and was saddened that I had. One Friday night, many moons ago, while queuing for entrance to the cinema with my boyfriend, I felt faint. I got really hot and just as I was about to collapse, he threw our large coke and popcorn up into the air and grabbed me with both arms before I hit the floor. He's always caught me.

He's been on my mind all day. I miss him, I need to laugh. He can make me laugh even when I really don't want to. I know every inch of him, I can see every curve, every freckle and his cute birth mark. I miss how he smells after a shower and our cuddles.
