Why don’t we make a pact, okay? That whenever you’re down, I’ll help you and whenever I’m down, you’ll help me. It’s kinda like a seesaw, except neither one of us can get off.

I run from nothing but the confines of my own mind. So long as I can forget; I will be fine. I will see if I'm given the space to look. Timeless mindless hours, yes please. Easy, breezy, please me. Give in to temptation and sleep for a month. No because I need to work hard. In this moment I must work hard. Then I will be free. To fall back on myself and absorb the colour of life. What happened to forgetting the detail? You lied. How do you forget when it's all so still? Nothing happens. Where are the blurred lights of thrills and magic? Time to count white poles but the nightlife is dying; where's the sense in that? Where's the colour in tarmac? There used to be explosions in my mind. Youth really was the only thing worth having. What am I going to do when I can't pick up a pen? Fuck. I wish I was seventeen again.
