Based on all the people I've seen talking about how Wylan would start going bald like his father I wanted to point out that, although Jan and Wylan are said to look very similar to each other there is one dead give away.

Wylan's red curls. The same ones as Marya.

Wylan got his hair from mother, so its safe to say Wylan would not receive Jan's unfortunate hairline and would at most just go gray.
