Off topic but im pretty sure all of the original dogs died and she just spawned in new ones in one of the vanilla/chocolate/strawberry villages episode

Bc after that episode she re-did all of her dogs skill tree mod thing and after that she just kinda left them all in her house

I had an idea where shadow knights become less humanoid the longer they stay in the nether, sort of like those MLP infection aus if you’ve seen those!

Stage 1 (Freshly turned) -> mostly humanoid, maybe horns or a tail

Stage 2 (Laurence) -> problematic features start forming (non-functional limbs, structural defects, extra eyes that don’t work, etc)

Stage 3 (Most knights) -> Problematic features become functional or otherwise beneficial and multiply

Stage 4 (Gene, Zenix) -> no longer humanoid

Stage 5 (Shad) -> no longer a shadow knight, but something that creates them.

The hostility and insanity most sources define them with aren’t actually features of the transformation. They’re just a result of people who couldn’t cope with not recognizing their own faces and bodies anymore. Immortal or otherwise different knights like Gene and Zenix can shapeshift, though their humanoid forms will usually have issues.

Shad def feels like he would have some sort of uncanny valley to him.

Zenix and gene with like ungulate legs and too long fingers and too long arms and too blank eyes.
