Anyone else been celebrating every significant day in the RWRB timeline during our own timeline?? Like I just think to myself “huh today is the day that Zahra finds out about Alex and Henry” don’t know why but these thoughts just make the world seem a little brighter. Anyway I’ve been doing this all throughout 2020 basically since I read the book for the first time a few months ago. If you wanna celebrate these lil happy alternate realities with me here’s the complete timeline

RWRB Timeline

december 31 - january 1 – NEW YEARS EVE first kiss under the tree and Henry flees the country

january – alex has his sexual crisis (suprise he’s Bi)

the end of january – State dinner (my personal favorite scene) AxH makeout under the Hamilton portrait Very Ironic

mid-february – Polo Match where Alex basically has a meltdown over how hot Henry is

march 6-8 – PARIS and reading Le Monde

march 12 – Henry’s birthday

march 27 – Alex’s birthday

march 27-29 – new york birthday celebrations and cupcake messes

may 16 – Alex graduates Georgetown!! Officially Claremont vs. Richards 2020

may 22-24 – weekend in LA with kimonos karaoke night with the new gang

july 6 – Wimbledon “Fucking love doing things out of spite” Henry plays Your Song on the piano... Alex tries not to overthink it

july 13-16 – DNC hOw DaRe RaFaEl LuNA

july 14 – henry stays with Alex at the Beekerman hotel

july 15 – ZAHRA FINDS OUT Henry comes tumbling out of the closet litterally

august 21-23 – Texas House Vacay! Alex LOVES Henry and Henry flees the country... again

OCTOBER 2 – Alex’s Whitehouse speech

the end of october – Alex and Henry’s royal photoshoot

november 3 – THE ELECTION NIGHT!!! “Under Winter clouds, victorious, he unlocks the door”

Lazy Mornings

Alex and Henry have been at the lake house for about a week now. Technically, they were supposed to be traveling across the country giving speeches about the importance of LGBT+ education in schools, but they both decided they needed a break.

Henry had been waking up early every day, or at least he would be if he was actually getting sleep. Mostly he just laid there, staring at his beautiful boyfriend and those goddamn fucking eyelashes as they softly fluttered against Alex’s cheeks.

In the mornings, Henry would slip out of bed, detangling himself from Alex’s embrace and slip on some boxers before making his way to the kitchen. Slowly and groggily, he’d turn on the coffee machine, idly cleaning as he waited for the fresh pot to finish brewing.

And every morning, just like clockwork, Alex would stumble out of the room right as Henry finished pouring two mugs of the steaming coffee.

“Hi baby,” Alex would mumble, wrapping his arms around Henry’s waist and pulling him into his chest, kissing Henry’s shoulder blade as he did.

Henry would simply smile and turn in Alex’s arms, giving him a quick peck before handing off one of the mugs.

The two would continue their mornings sipping coffee and stealing the occasional kiss, both trapped in an ethereal bliss as they spent a quiet day simply being in each other’s presence.

A/N: Me? Writing? Who would have thought? Okay but seriously i was just messing around trying to get back into writing and uhh thought I’d share it :) lemme know if you guys wanna read any other word vomits
