Dear Maya, Come Swim premier at Sundance AND now going to Cannes! I loved the interviews from Sundance because she is so genuine. Nothing fake about her. She stands up (and marches!) for what she believes in.

So sweet Maya Next week there will be a big change in my life! I’m a little bit nervous but even if we’re not sure about something we know to just keep swimming. It’s going to be OK.

Thoughts on K’s movie “Swim” and some comments made.

First of all, as a dear friend said to me as we were talking about this…….

Kristen basically said Swim is about a “Mans drowning with heartache” she didn’t say it’s her heartache-so why  is she gonna talk about her own romantic relationship.

She has said this time & time again…it is about a MAN drowning with heartache. This has NOTHING whatsoever to do with her own relationships….including romantic ones.

Next, some of you out there, have latched onto a comment she made about 4 public relationships. Oh she didn’t say anything bad about Rob, blah blah blah. I had to go back & listen to interviews and reread some things….why, no she didn’t. And you know what, she didn’t even mention him….so, what pray tell makes you twits think she is talking about Rob????? That this is movie Swim is about them…..breaking up. Oy….I missed that memo.

Why the heck would she be writing about a break up when she continues to go around wearing his stuff………..like this…….

Which was LAST week……like Tuesday!!!! Think about that for a sec!!! 

Anywhoodles…..It matters not to me if you think or don’t think they are together. That is your choice.

Kristen Stewart to Host SNL

Kristen Stewart will soon make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut.

The Twilight alum (whose ghost flick Personal Shopper goes wide in March?) will lord over Studio 8H when SNL returns on Feb. 4, NBC announced during this weekend’s telecast.

“Scars To Your Beautiful” singer Alessia Cara will serve as the musical guest.

Come Swim - Kristen Stewart is joining the growing number of Hollywood women who’ve moved behind the camera, partnering with Refinery29’s Shatterbox Anthology for her directorial début, Come Swim. A surrealist journey through the imagination’s wild currents, Come Swim conjures a stunningly kaleidoscopic portrait of one man’s emotional interior — unbounded darkness and desire. Shatterbox is proud to present Stewart’s remarkably innovative short film, which will premiere this week at the Sundance Film Festival, and is also headed to Cannes in May.

Kristen Stewart has starred in a total of seven different Sundance Film Festival titles including the rom-com favorite Adventureland in 2009 and 2010′s The Runaways, a biopic in which she plays legendary rock star Joan Jett. This year she returns for her directorial debut with the avant-garde short film Come Swim, which is described as “…a diptych of one man’s day, half impressionist and half realist portraits.” Come Swim is a part of Refinery29′s Shatterbox Anthology, a series of twelve short films helmed by women.
