When the author keeps killing off your favs:

I don’t really understand the love everyone has for Lyanna Stark & Rhaegar Targaryen. Rhaegar was married with kids & he publicly humiliated his wife at a tourney for a woman who was already betrothed and then they ran off together, leading to a war that has left several Great Houses near extinction or extinct.

Thousands of solders lost their lives.Elia Martell was raped and murdered along with her children. Rickard & Brandon Stark were murdered. Jamie Lannister became a King Slayer. Daenerys & Viserys Targaryen exiled, Dany beaten and raped. Jon Arryn was murdered and his only child left vulnerable to manipulators. Edmure Tully has been a prisoner of war for years and has never laid eyes on his son. Shireen Baratheon was burnt alive. Ned Stark was beheaded. Robb Stark was murdered, Catelyn Stark was murdered. Rickon Stark was murdered. Sansa Stark was beaten, raped and humiliated, repeatedly. Arya Stark was forced to flee, fight and go blind. Bran Stark left a cripple.

And their son Jon Snow was left alone in the world, his heritage hidden away.

So yeah, fuck Rhaegar & Lyanna.
