You are misunderstanding what "transfem" means.

"Transfem" is not a synonym for "trans woman." When we analyze transfeminity sociopolitically [artistic analysis included], we are talking about anyone who was AMAB and who is transgender, be they nonbinary or a woman. If Ralsei is bigender, she would still be transfem.

If you'd actually watched the video rather than judging a book by its cover, you would know that Spookii explicitly regards Kris as nonbinary. No one is "potentially making Kris a cis woman" because transfem =/= "girl"

While you may be uncomfortable with considering a nonbinary character's AGAB, it is thematically relevant in a story about tradition, cisheteronormativity, and societal expectations. Unlike Undertale, Deltarune is set in a world where queerness does not go unquestioned - this is made clear in Ralsei's reluctance to explore his identity, the way that Hometown treats a potential lesbian couple as unusual [ex: the Festival king & queen voting], the repeated usage of male-as-default phrasing [Mancountry "non-men are okay too," Flowery saying that "you're with the boys, even when some of them are girls], and the heteronormative framing of the Weird Route.

Insisting that no one ever theorize on the specifics of Kris' transition is, whether you intend it or not, a stifling of queer analysis. Deltarune is a world with cisheteronormative structures much like ours, it is no wonder that it will be analyzed through the lens of sex assignment. Kris and Ralsei are fictional characters, their privacy cannot be invaded - there is no reason that queer theorists [especially those who are themselves trans, such as the YouTuber in question] should be shamed for this sort of analysis. It is not invalidating of these character's identities - if anything, it strengthens what their stories have to say about transition to consider what their relationship to gender has been and will be like.

Im not saying people cant analyze or question different aspects of gender in deltarune, im saying that insisting on where is on the gender spectrum feels counterintuitive to their character when theyre shown to not lean fem or masc but both and is referred to in a gender nutral way in canon

It would be fine if this were a headcanon but a lot of people tend to be absolutist on their personal views of characters when it doesnt reflect kris themself

Also kris’s agab, still isnt canonically confirmed and i dont think its supposed to matter narratively and im pretty sure that was so the audience would accept that theyre non binary

This unfortunately did not work in the fandom and kris is constantly subconsciously masculinized or put into a box regarding gender

Did you actually read what I said? A nonbinary person being transfem does not put them in a certain place "on the gender spectrum," it just describes one part of their transition [the gender they were assigned at birth]. No one is invalidating Kris' androgyny here.

Of course you're welcome to disagree with an analysis, but you should probably actually watch the analysis, or at the least understand the definitions of the terms it's using before making a Tumblr post dissing it.

Also, when you say "especially with how people who are nonbinary, transmasc, or outside the mainstream genders are constantly erased and ignored"... are you intentionally ommitting "transfem" from that phrasing to imply that transfems *aren't* constantly erased and ignored? You're not making yourself look any less transmisogynist with this response

IDK I think if cis men are being told that being fat will lower their testosterone and make them Insufficiently Masculine, and cis women are being told that being fat will raise their testosterone and make them Excessively Masculine, and fat trans people are being denied the right to medically transition if they're fat, and thin trans people are warned against HRT because it will make them fat (and this is said about both testosterone and estrogen HRT), and androgynous-presenting people are told that only thin people count as androgynous...

Sure you're cool with this character being trans but are you cool with them transitioning [see: the way that, in some corners of fandom, "transfem!canonically male character" and "transmasc!canonically female character" are seen as verboten, despite "transfem!canonically female character" and "transmasc!canonically male character" being fine and dandy]
