@lonelyheartedlovers
In memory of the great Roy Halladay. We will all miss you Doc.
RIP Roy. You will be missed.
I'm starting to watch Progress from Chapter 1 so you guys will get my thoughts on that from time to time.
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Review
I received a complementary sample of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in medium from Influenster.
I figured I would try it tonight when I have nothing better to do than sit on my couch and watch wrestling, in case anything went wrong.
Originally, I would have preferred to test a lighter shade, but the second lightest shade wasn’t available by the time I completed the survey for Influenster.
I didn’t have the best time with application. It goes on a little streaky and you have to be careful so that your legs don’t look ridiculous. I do like the lotion, as it allows for a more controlled application than spray, but I just found that it was hard to get everything evened out.
At first, the color was slightly orange but it set nicely. I compared it to the leg I didn’t do an application on and while there was a noticeable difference, it wasn’t something insane where your legs will be 10000x darker than the rest of your body, which is good since I did receive a darker shade than I wanted.
Due to the difficulty I had with application, I didn’t take any pictures, but I might try again another day and try to take pictures.
Another pro: the lotion comes off easily if you use a washcloth, soap, and water, which means that if you don’t like it, you can remove it right away.
#WipeForWater Challenge
I received a free sample of Neutrogena Naturals makeup remover/facial cleansing wipes from Influenster and I’m currently taking the #WipeforWater challenge.
Day 1:
I used the wipes before bed and when I woke up (I have acne-prone skin and need to cleanse at least twice a day).
So far, my skin has felt pretty clean and smooth. It tends to get oily during the day so I’m happy with how its felt so far.
Day 2:
The wipes are really good at removing make up. They do leave your face with that tingly clean feeling.
Day 3:
No new pimples or anything.
All in all, I think the wipes are good. They remove makeup and dirt and kept my face clean. Because I have acne-prone skin, I probably couldn’t make them the only part of my face cleaning routine, but they’d make a nice addition.
At first, I drove myself crazy thinking about the things I should have done differently. I never should’ve played that joke on Erin… I never should’ve hollowed out this damn pumpkin in the first place!
Jim: Four years ago, I was just a guy who had a crush on a girl who had a boyfriend. And I had to do the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to do, which was just to… wait. Uh, don’t get me wrong. I flirted with her. Pam, I can now admit in front of friends and family that I do know how to make a photocopy. Didn’t need your help that many times. And, uh, do you remember how long it took you to teach me how to drive stick?
Pam: Like, a year.
Jim: I’ve been driving stick since high school, so… For a really long time, that’s all I had. I just had little moments with a girl who saw me as a friend. And a lot of people told me I was crazy to wait this long for a date with a girl who I worked with, but I think even then I knew that… I was waiting for my wife.
I’m in love with you.
communication is really key in relationships and nothing proves that more than my mom and stepdad's relationship.
my stepdad refuses to answer simple questions or gives a clearly fake/snide answer when asked. "Where are you going?" "Out." is a common exchange between him and my mom.
He gets extremely defensive when someone tries to talk to him about something that bothers them, and he's also ridiculously impulsive in his reactions.
I can tell that the communication deficiencies have been bothering my mom recently, and it just shows me that I do not want that at all.
If you cannot approach your partner about something because you feel they will be unresponsive or will belittle your feelings and you feel that WHENEVER you want to discuss something important with them - then I don't think that relationship is healthy.

My annual NYE post:
My family had a lot of problems. We lost Buddy in May, my dad lost his job in July, my brother has been having an ongoing battle with controlling his bipolar disorder since August, Joey separated from his fiancee of two years, and all of those things have taken a collective toll on us.
On the bright side, this was my first full year with Scott and that has been great. I've never felt so loved and happy, and he makes me feel a lot better about myself. Joey came home in June. I interned at Mayor Nutter's office for a total of about 8 months, and I also interned at the Fox School of Business. I received the top of the class award in May and have gotten 5 straight 4.0 semester GPAs.
Scott and I had Six Flags season passes, which was so much fun. We took our first trip together to Maryland and that was also a great experience.
I also turned 21, which has been nice.
I'm looking forward to a lot in 2015: Royal Rumble, a bunch of Chikara events, graduation, more trips with Scott.
Hopefully my family's fortunes can improve in 2015.
