oh it seemed so funny yet amusing for the redhead to see that kageyama was confused. he could be so nice and help him— otherwise… otherwise he would let him that confused. but would he be that bold to him? he didn’t want to be like his alternate ( which he haven’t met yet, thankfully ), if his alternare would even have a bold personality; he wasn’t sure about that yet.
he couldn’t resist but released a small chuckle before patting the taller’s arm. ‘heeh, kageyama— are you confused?’, he inquired, ‘if you want i could tell you what’s going on !! but yeah !! the others are here, too !! and i think even the grand king is here, too !! i don’t know who else is but i know that i have seen sugawara-senpai being here !!’
when kageyama questioned the hive, he nodded. ‘yeah !! this place is called hive city, or just the hive. you see, you can’t escape from this town like it seems !! it’s— uwaah — very scary, you know !? like, there’s no exit !? okay, but… not that i know so far !! this city is HUGE, and it has… like… different districts and the like !!’ he hoped that his explanation was good enough for kageyama to understand. ‘and about the devil’s therapist. something’s wrong !! you see in the sky, and there’s like… another city !! and i don’t know much yet, but it seems like the people that might come from THAT town are as different as the people that are from THIS town !! like uh…. imagine the most sweetest person here, is turning into a monster !!’
Well it wasn’t like Kageyama had met any sort of alternate yet, either. Not that he really knew that there were any, so there really was no imagining what he was like. But yeah - he was definitely confused and it was more than frustrating for the taller. Being confused wasn’t really his forte. Not that he didn’t grasp it (ok he was an idiot, to be real), but it was just too much, too soon. Much too soon.
But Hinata asking him whether or not he was confused was probably the last thing he wanted to answer, but he couldn’t help it, anyways. His reaction was something that would probably give him away, more than anything, cheeks flushing in embarrassment and promptly shoving a hand in the shorter’s face with a huff.
“Shut up! I’m not confused at all, idiot. I just got here not long ago so I just don’t know what’s going on, is all. I’m not confused. I also don’t care if Oikawa-senpai is here. He’s the last person I want to see.” And he spit out the last words, pulling back and crossing his arms. Time to act like a child.
The setter took a second to absorb all of the words spilling from Hinata’s mouth, however, blinking slow as his face screwed up in an expression of confusion (like the confusion really left his face to begin with). He understood it, for the most part. It just seemed like a lot more than he actually realized. Altogether, it just seemed like a lot of districts and way, way too much going on, considering the time. “So we can’t leave? What about Karasuno..?” Cue a slow blink, pout forming on his lips. “That’s just weird. I don’t get it. Why would something be coming from the sky, anyways? If we can avoid it, though, I don’t want to meet any monsters.”
