Masterlist ~ Request Rules Hi! Admin Elle and Admin G here (not related in anyway to LG). We write trash about Haikyuu!! but we hope you like it! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Hi, everyone. Itâs Elle. Some of you may have noticed that this account has been inactive for weeks on end, if not months.Â
Iâm sure youâve all heard a bunch of writers talk about how the lack of feedback has caused them to give up on writing. Itâs the same old sob story about how they lose their inspiration to continue doing so.Â
Iâm afraid that the same has happened to me.Â
I thought it wouldnât be fair to leave you all like this, without informing you about our disappearance.Â
Iâm so sorry for keeping you all out of the loop like this.Â
This account will not be deleted, nor will any of the works on here be deleted. They are our babies and we would like to keep them up as Iâm sure at least some people like to return to these works. Thank you for liking our babies, by the way.Â
Thank you for all the support over all this time. Itâs greatly appreciated.Â
Maybe someday weâll return, but I canât predict the future.Â
I Get By With a Little Help From These Idiots (One-shot)
Youâll have to pry my love for seijoh from my cold dead hands. This time, Iâm focusing on the middle childs of the team, so I hope you enjoy! ~ElleÂ
Yahaba couldn't count the amount of times his parents nagged him for being so tense all the time. His own father told him that his stress was probably the reason why he had grey hair, even though it's his natural hair color that he inherited from him. His mother told him that he could make himself sick if he didn't get enough sleep or relaxation. Of course, Yahaba only brushed off their words and continued to sleep very little every night.
Oh, how he wished he would have listened.
Aoba Johsai's volleyball team was off doing their routine practices, even though they were no longer playing against anyone formally. With the pressure of becoming the new captain of the team, he really wanted to work hard in order to prove himself worthy of the title...to himself.
The boy was always doubting his self-worth, comparing himself to others and believing that he would never be able to fill their shoes as well as they did. It's a bad habit, he admits it, and he wants to kick himself every time negative thoughts fill his head.
Sometimes, though, they cause him to break.
Rather, in this case, break himself.
He knew he was overworking himself, staying hours after practice ended just so he could practice and perfect some skills. Due to those extra hours in the gym, he came home late and could only eat a little food in order to settle his stomach so that he had enough time for his homework. He also had to study for exams, causing him to miss out on hours of sleep. There was nothing else he could do, though. He had to work to prove he could be as good as Oikawa.
The team was playing a three on three, the teams consisting of Yahaba, Kyoutani and Kindaichi versus Kunimi, Watari and Hanamaki because they needed one more player.
The third years were not very active in the club anymore, having to dedicate their time more to school-related affairs, but they came every once in a while to check on their underclassmen. Yahaba didn't know if he felt more intimidated playing against Oikawa or having his watchful eyes scrutinizing him from the sidelines.
"Kunimi!" Watari called as he tossed to said wing spiker. Kyoutani was running up to the net, prepared to shut him out, but the ball penetrated through his arms. Kindaichi dove to the ground, managing to save his team. Yahaba had to run to the other side to reach the ball though, as it was not a pass.
On one particular step, he began to feel incredibly dizzy. That was fine, though. He could power through. He managed to set the ball, but it was too reckless of a toss to be able to hit properly, causing Kyoutani to swing at the air. The ball bounced off the court.
"What the hell was that?!" Kyoutani growled. Everyone's eyes fell on Yahaba, making him feel very small and uneasy.
"My bad. It won't happen again." Yahaba wished the promise he uttered out of his mouth wouldn't become empty.
The game continued, and the setter's limbs became more and more heavy. His reaction time slowed, and he just barely was able to make plays, even if they were sloppy. Yahaba noticed everyone was watching him with concern, even the coaches. Just as Coach Mizoguchi was going to call for a time out, Yahaba felt his legs give out and he collapsed to the floor.
He didn't lose consciousness when he hit the floorâthough he wish he had, because he didn't want to see everyone huddling around him, eyes on him as if he was a train wreck one couldn't help but stare at. His brain began to grow more muddled, until all he could see were blurry figures and dark spots surrounding them. Their voices grew more muffled, but he could barely recognize Iwaizumi's voice calling for Kyoutani to help him pick him up. The senior's voice was calming, at least, Yahaba thought before the black spots consumed his vision entirely.
~
Waking up disoriented on a bed with a raging headache and an ice pack dripping icy water all over your face is not fun.
The event is even less fun once the memories prior to it come flooding back.
Yahaba stirs with a groan, and the first sight his eyes are met with is the baby blue wall facing him. He looks down to see the flowery sheets he was covered with, and he wipes off the water running down his cheeks.
"Shigeru!" Yahaba hears Watari boom as he and his second-year and first-year team members come in. The libero jumps on Yahaba's bed and hugs the life out of him.
"Ah! Shinji, please stop, it hurts!" Yahaba protested, but he was very happy his friends were trying to comfort him.
"You scared us, Yahaba-senpai," Kindaichi speaks up, "We were all worried about you."
"Yeah!" Watari added. "We can't have our captain breaking now, can't we?" He proceeds to ruffle what he could of Yahaba's hair. The boy in question only looks down and tries to fight the urge to frown. Everyone continues chattering about him and tell the sick boy how they hope he would get better soon, and Yahaba could only put on a face for them and say that he appreciated everything. Almost the whole group departs after the exchange, save for the only person that remained quiet for the whole thing.
"You're being stupid," Kyoutani grumbles as he takes the seat beside the bed. Yahaba's eyes widen and he furrows his eyebrows.
"Don't pretend you have no idea what I'm talking about. I've seen how tired you've been," Kyoutani replies with a serious tone. "It's not like you to play so shitty."
"Okay, okay," Yahaba shakes his hands in front of him, "I know I've been acting off. I've just been really tired."
Kyoutani gives Yahaba an expression that almost looks sympathetic, but the spiker is still so hard to read that the setter doesn't know. There is a silence in the air, and it is shattered with a simple grunt coming from Kyoutani.
"Get some rest," Kyoutani gets up from his chair, "and stop stressing, captain. You're not as shitty as you think you are." The boy leaves the room and leaves Yahaba in shock.
"If I see you half-dead tomorrow, I'm gonna kill you!" Yahaba hears Kyoutani shout. The setter laughs the most he has ever in a long time.
What a controversial title for such a fluffy story but yeah Iâm goin with it. Hope you enjoy some cute seijoh boys! ~Elle
âIwaizumi.â
âYeah?â
âWhy are you sitting there?âÂ
âWhy does it matter to you?âÂ
Iwaizumi, Matsukawa, Hanamaki and Oikawa all decided to hang out at Iwaizumiâs house after school. As soon as the boy got home, he decided to settle down on the armrest of the black leather sofa in the living room instead of the sofa itself which had more than enough room for him to sit. Hanamaki and Matsukawa raised an eyebrow at him, while Oikawa didnât spare a second glance.
âIwaizumi just likes sitting in unusual places,â Oikawa added, taking the seat opposite of his friend.Â
âYou talk as if I take a seat on the most random places,â he remarked, allowing his legs to continue swinging from the end of the armrest. The other two boys decided to join their friends on the sofa, all looking towards the boy perched to the left of them. Â
âBut, you do~!â Oikawa protested, âDo you remember how I found you sitting on the kitchen countertop once and how you always sit on top of the desks during lunch?âÂ
Matsukawa chuckled, âReminds me of how my cat refuses to sit anywhere where his feet can touch the floor.âÂ
âAre you seriously comparing me to a cat?â Iwaizumi replied, unimpressed. The other boys only snickered.Â
âçŤăĄăăďźâ Kitty! Oikawa cooed, making his way towards Iwaizumi and pinching his cheeks. Hanamaki burst into laughter and had to hide his face in his hands. Iwaizumi only glared at Oikawa and tried to bite his hands. The boy flinched and immediately retreated to his seat, whining to the others about how his friend was so mean as they laughed at him.Â
âYou do realize youâre only proving our point, right?â Hanamaki stated once he calmed down.Â
Iwaizumi only scrunched up his face and reached for the TV remote. âDo you wanna watch a movie or not?âÂ
The other teenagers quieted down in response, proceeding to pull snacks out of their bags to get ready for the movie. Iwaizumi sighed and wondered why he was friends with these people.
The black screen came to life with color, then turned red with the click of a button from the remote in Iwaizumiâs hand. Soon, they were met with the Netflix page.Â
âLetâs watch Your Name. I heard it was good, â Matsukawa suggested pointing to the option on the TV. Â
âNo way, I donât want something sappy. Letâs watch Death Note,â Oikawa replied.
âNo to either version of Death Note because the anime is too long and the movie is terrible,â Hanamaki shot the suggestion down.Â
âThereâs a new Godzilla movie outâŚâ Iwaizumi mumbled to himself. Oikawa smirked at him, silently teasing him for loving Godzilla so much.Â
âHow about Doctor Strange? Is that on there?â Matsukawa asked Iwaizumi. Sure enough, there the movie was under the âActionâ section. After the others gave their approval, the movie began.Â
The movie started off quite slowly, and Iwaizumi started to lie down on the top of the sofaâs backrest. His eyelids were beginning to flutter, and he didnât even notice when he fell asleep. None of the others did either, too transfixed on the movie playing on the TV to pay attention to their sleepy friend. Only when Oikawa felt something fuzzy brush against the back of his neck fifteen minutes later did he turn around to notice Iwaizumiâs head lolling off. He stifled a laugh and tapped Hanamaki on the shoulder to show him the sight, and Matsukawa soon turned to see what was happening, too. They all laughed, causing Iwaizumiâs eyes to fly open and send a glare to each of them.Â
âWoke up on the wrong side of the couch?â Hanamaki teased. Iwaizumi only hissed at the bright light the TV assaulted his eyes with and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He hated being woken up, but he also didnât want to miss much of the movie, and the action was already beginning.Â
The movie ended after a while, and Matsukawa and Hanamaki departed after thanking iwaizumi and saying their goodbyes. Oikawa stayed behind, as usual, since impromptu sleepovers were a normal occurrence between them.Â
The pair sat in silence, playing around on their phones in the living room. On a sudden whim, Oikawa began stroking his friendâs hair, wanting to show some affection. Iwaizumiâs eyes began to droop, and he leaned towards the touch.Â
âAs much as you deny it, you really do act like a cute little cat, Iwa-chan,â Oikawa softly muttered into the other boyâs hair.Â
âShut up,â Iwaizumi closed his eyes and lied down on Oikawaâs lap.Â
âDonât you think your bed is a better place to sleep?â Oikawa raised a eyebrow at his friend, but smiled fondly at the cute boy.Â
âYou said it yourself, I like staying in unusual places. Now less talking and more petting,â Iwaizumi remarked, and Oikawa couldnât argue with that logic.
Hello! So I am sorry to tell you this but we are going to have to take a break from posting for a little bit. This is because school and life has become kinda more difficult right now and the time to write isnât really there. However if you want to send us in messages or just talk our askbox is always open! <3
I decided to write another small one-shot on another prompt Roleplay Generator gave to me ^-^
Hope you enjoy some dai-sugar because this might give you a cavity! ~Elle
The summer sun was rather merciful today, for the weather was tolerable enough to not make people feel as if they were being cooked on a skillet made of earth. To take advantage of the pleasant weather, Daichi invited Koushi to an outing at their local park to walk around and have a picnic together. Koushi was sat at a park bench with a basket full of food on his denim covered lap, his legs bouncing slightly with anticipation. He ran a hand through his silver hair and began to continue looking around for his friend, but his search was fruitless.
âIâm here! Iâm here!â shouted a voice almost breathlessly, the voice accompanied by the sound of rubber soles hitting the cement ground at a rapid pace. Koushi looked towards the area where he heard the sound and was met with the sight of a red-faced Daichi running towards him with a backpack in tow.
âHey! What took you so long?â Koushi smiled at his friend, âI was worried that you would stand me up.â
âIâm so sorry. I lost track of time,â Daichi placed his hand on the back of his neck sheepishly. âLetâs find a spot to set up.â
The two settled down in the grass next to a large tree that granted them some shade and placed the picnic blanket Daichi brought with him on the ground. Koushi sat down and began taking out cups in order to serve himself a cup of soda.
âDo you want some, Daichi?â Koushi asked him while holding a plastic cup towards him.
Daichi shook his head rapidly and sat down awkwardly on the blanket, âNo, no. Iâm not thirsty.â
Koushi furrowed his eyebrows. âDo you want to eat something, then?â
âNot hungry.â
Koushi furrowed his eyebrows even more. âWhatâs wrong? Youâre acting quite stiff. Donât start acting like Asahi, eh!â The boy proceeded to lightly punch his friendâs arm in an attempt to have him loosen up. Daichi rubbed at the area and looked away.
âI donât know whatâs wrong,â The boy said in a small voice. Koushi frowned a bit in sympathy and put a hand on Daichiâs shoulder.
âDo you want to talk about it?â Koushi set his drink aside and waited for Daichiâs response.
âIâm just...I donât know how to start,â Daichi took a deep breath, âI think this may be the last time we can meet again.â
âI just feel odd around you. I donât mean that you make me uncomfortable- well, kind of- but youâre a lovely person, believe me! I just get really nervous around you and my stomach feels weird and I get really lightheaded and Iâm rambling now, arenât I?â The nervous boy blurted out.
âDaichiâŚâ
âAm I cursed, Suga? I canât really think of any other explanation. I think Iâm sick. I canât be meeting with you anymore.â
Koushi looked at Daichi with the most incredulous expression on his face. He couldnât believe what he was hearing.
Daichi was that dumb.
âI just wanted to spend one more day with you before we have to part,â Daichi looked down at his intertwined fingers. Koushi took a deep sigh.
âI think I might have the perfect cure to your problem,â Koushi declared before moving closer to Daichi, caressing his cheek, and pressing his lips onto the otherâs. Daichi became wide-eyed, and it took a second for him to process the situation and another second to react to it; to Koushi, however, those seconds felt like eternity.
The pair parted, heavy breaths filling the silence in the air. Both of their faces were painted pink.
âDo you feel better?â Koushi smiled.
âAbsolutely.â
~
âAgh, the blanket!â Koushi exclaimed once he noticed a stained, wet patch on the picnic blanket and a now empty cup lying on it.
Daichi:Â the only normal player in the whole group
Suga: rolls the ball with both hands under his legs kinda like the pics below but gets a strike every time and wins
Asahi: rolls the ball too softly and it goes straight to the gutter every time. a gutter donation angel
Noya:Â tries to follow Sugaâs example but keeps getting splits because he always aims for the center
Tanaka: uses the heaviest frickin ball and throws it at the pins until an employee threatens to get the team all kicked out
Ennoshita, Kinoshita and Narita: still part of the bench squad rip
Kageyama: has never played any sport besides volleyball but is somehow able to play better than mostly everyone
Hinata: also tries to follow Sugaâs example but forgets to let go of the ball and missile projects himself into the pins
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi: are away somewhere doing who knows what because they (Tsukishima, rather) didnât want to be associated with the other idiotsÂ
I've been super busy this week so I haven't been able to prepare a post for today. I promise I'll be posting something tomorrow though! Thank you~ ~Elle
Okay so we worked really hard on this trash we hope you enjoy! It is basically the boys fangirling over bts.
Ji-mini 0.5 aka Hinata, PG Police Kookie aka Kenma, Translator aka Tsukishima, Not yoongi aka Suga, J-hoe aka Yamaguchi, and last and not least I want agustâs d aka Oikawa
 I want agustâs d: TSUKISHIAM
                geT TF ONLINE
TADSHI TELL YA BF TO GET ON
          J-hoe: ok first of all
                Not my boyfriend
                Second of all
I FUCKIN KNOW RIGHT TSUKKI GET TF ON
Ji-mini 0.5: IDK WHAT I JUST WATCHED BUT      JHOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE Dx
AND JIMIN TOO LIKE WHAT TF HAPPENED TO HIS ARM
I want agustâs d: EXCUSE YOU BUT WHAT ABOUT JIN
                ARE WE JUST GONNA IGNORE
                THE LOOKS HE WAS SERVIN
                LIKE
PG Police Kookie: Oikawa-san pls stop right there
      Ji-mini 0.5: lmao caught
I want agustâs d: FUCK DA POLICE
YOU CANT DENY JIN LOOKS DADDY AF
Not yoongi: itâs like the police donât do anything these days
                And neither do the translators
                Tsukishima please weâre desperate
Tsukishima heard his phone buzzing as if it was having a seizure. He turned his head towards the area where his phone was, observing how the device buzzed so much that it moved from the center of the desk to the edge of it, about to fall (everything) fall (everything) fall (everything) off the table. He finally unlocked his phone and noticed the BTS fan group chat he was dragged into by Yamaguchi was sending him many messages about the new Love Yourself highlight reels.
Of course he knew about these reels already and translated them ahead of time, but he needs to keep up the image that he doesnât really like the group all that much and doesnât check his phone often. Sighing, he began to type his response.
Translator: I would really appreciate it if you all could stop blowing up my phone.
Ji-mini 0.5: you could say it might start
                Burning up
          J-hoe: get off the stage
PG Police Kookie: Shouyou are you sure you havenât been watching too many videos of Jin
Or hanging around Sugawara-san too often
Not yoongi: I thought Hinataâs joke was funny
I want agustâs d: ofc you did you dad
Translator: So do you guys want the translations or are you going to keep fighting over the jin jokes?
      Not yoongi: Weâll stop
                 Right?
       Ji-mini 0.5: even though Suga-san is so far away i can feel his angry aura from here ;-;
I want agustâs d: sO FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR AWAAAAAAAAAY
PG Police Kookie: and thereâs the agust d fanboy mode activated
I want agustâs d: Like you donât listen to this song everyday Kozume
PG Police Kookie: true
                Itâs relaxing
          J-hoe: Tsukki pls
                Translations
Tsukishima smirked. Should he give in, pretending to be reluctant while doing so in order to get them to shut up, or continue to be mean?
Translator: Perhaps, once the obsessives are done obsessing enough to even read what Iâm saying, I will do so.
I want agustâs d: Ok ok weâll stop
I wanna know what that pretty face is saying
Translator: My pretty face? Why, Iâm flattered.
I want agustâs d: I would call you a brat but then you wonât send the translations
So pleeeaaaassseee Tsukishima tell us what Jin said
Translator: Stop arguing and I will.
Not yoongi: Everyone shush he is the only one that can give us what we NEED
  I want agustâs d: *cough*
      Not yoongi: Pervert
       Ji-mini 0.5: Tsukki weâre ready
          J-hoe: Yea
I want agustâs d: give it to me
PG Police Kookie: not again
Tsukishima began to look for the document where he held the translations that he wrote. Once he found it, he sent a link to the chat. Leaning back on his chair, he waited for the burst of notifications that was to begin soon.
      Ji-mini 0.5: OMGGGG
  I want agustâs d: JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
J-hoe: So is jin a time traveller????
Not yoongi: I am so confused
Ji-mini 0.5: I WISH I WAS SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE SENSE OF EVERYTHING
wHY CANT I BE AS SMART AS TSUKISHIMAAAA
PG Police Kookie: I think Yamaguchi could be onto something
He looked as if he knew the girl was going to be hit by that car before
And that the vase was going to fall
I want agustâs d: I canât believe kim seokjin is doctor who
Ji-mini 0.5: im just gonna nod and agree to everything being said because i canât theorize so have fun~
Not yoongi: But that means the multiverse theory is correct
PG Police Kookie: Yes but what about the situation between Taehyung and Namjoon
                That is still unclear
Ji-mini 0.5: idk everything is confusing for me
J-hoe: Maybe the girl that was with Taehyung became friends with him and they started doing crimes together
And the girl with Namjoon was Taehyungâs sister and he wanted to make up for not being able to take care of Taehyung in HYYH
PG Police Kookie: Taehyungâs girl could have seen Taehyung like he used to see Namjoon
                As an older brother
  I want agustâs d: damn
Wish i had namjoon as that brotherly figure too
But that means i canât date him so its kinda like hwarang all over again
Ji-mini 0.5: SHUSH ABOUT HWARANG IM STILL NOT OVER HANSUNG
Not yoongi: Look there are people over here trying to live normal lives not thirsting over every cute boy they see tone it down a little
PG Police Kookie: can you really say weâre living normal lives when weâre here theorizing over a made up story
Not yoongi: We are just some fanboys and here because we love them as people not as objects like other crazed fans
I want agustâs d: Look suga #2 i just appreciate the boys bodies along with their talent it doesnât always seem like that but i mean dayum they are so beautiful
And art must be appreciated in all its forms
Plus its not like you can talk mr. has a whole fanblog dedicated to taehyungâs hands
      Not yoongi: -__-
Ji-mini 0.5: okay so that is a thing that happened
But i still donât know what is happening Kenma-san helppp
                The only thing I know is that poor kookie got hit by a car ;-;
PG Police Kookie: ok so Jimin obviously likes the girl but accidentally hurt her and J-Hope but in different ways
Tsukishima laughed out loud at the chaos that the chat had turned into. The group chat was a sneaky way to theorize and to also fanboy about BTS while not even having to participate much. Although he could really do without Oikawaâs spamming of pictures of the boys while calling them unmentionable names, he enjoyed being in the group more than he let on.
As the others continued to theorize, those that werenât able to connect the dots themselves started helping out by sending screenshots of the videos that could help. Tsukishima had to fight the urge to contribute, because he really did want to bring up some points that the others havenât noticed. For now, he had to keep his love quiet because he wouldnât hear the end of it from Yamaguchi or Hinata. He continued to read the texts while listening to Kim Taehyung attempt to rap to Cypher Pt. 3.
This is the amazing person award! Once you are given this award you are supposed to paste it in the ask of eight different people, who, in your opinion, deserve it. If you break the chain~ nothing will happen, but itâs sweet to know someone thinks youâre amazing inside and outside.
Whaaa? Omg weâre so late but thank you so much! Youâre an amazing person too!Â
I seem to always make poor Tooru suffer my pain whenever it gives me an idea for a little short story. My poor volleynerd twin. At least he has Iwaizumi.
I hope you enjoy this! ~Elle
Tooru tried everything from breathing exercises to hypnosis to ASMR, but he only continued to stay awake to stare at his ceiling with bloodshot eyes. Itâs been the third night in a row that he has not been able to sleep and he cannot understand why. Yes, he may have some fault to this situation because he screwed his sleep schedule by staying up watching volleyball games recorded on tape, but he should still be tired enough from losing sleep the first time in order to fall asleep earlier the next few nights. This was evidently not the case.
The boy began running his fingers through his short, brown curls, remembering that this action would make him sleepy before. That attempt also produced no results.
He groaned in his pillow, desperately wanting to rest. His body was exhausted but his mind would not relieve itself of stress enough to do so. All he could think about was upcoming exams, matches, and the stress of starting university soon. The anxiety made him restless and desperate for distractions. Now he was desperate to sleep.
This desperation caused him to do something unthinkable.
His phone blinded his eyes for a few seconds, but he was still able to make out the phone icon and Iwaizumiâs number.
He hoped he wouldnât kill him for waking him, but if push comes to shove he hoped death would allow him to finally get some rest.
âWhat. The hell,â a gruff voice said through the speaker, âShittykawa, I swearâŚâ
Tooru began to regret ever calling his friend and began to consider profusely apologizing and saying that he didnât mean to call him this late.
âIwa-chan, Iâm so sorry, â he replied nervously. Before he could finish his statement, Iwaizumi cut him off.
âYou canât sleep, canât you.â
Tooru didnât know whether or not he was grateful for or scared of Iwaizumiâs seemingly psychic abilities when it came to him.
âI canât, yeah,â Tooru sighed, âIâm sorry for calling you this late. I shouldnât have burdened you with my problems.â
âYou must really be tired in order to actually stop being such a huge prick.â
Feigning offense, Tooru gasped dramatically, âIwa-chan! How dare you!â
Iwaizumi chuckled lightly, âIâm kidding, you know that. Also, youâre never a burden to me, okay? Quit with that kind of crap.â
Tooruâs lips began to curve into a small smile, but he was too tired to tease his friend about using such language.
âAnyways,â Iwaizumi let out a small, sleepy groan as if he was stretching, âWhat can I help you with, now that you woke me up.â
The boy was scared of being judged for his request, but he was so tired, and with every moment that passed, he seemed to grow sleepier. This meant that his plan may work if he has the courage to ask for Iwaizumiâs help and if Iwaizumi agrees to help in the first place.
With a small voice, he responded, âI canât fall asleep. Iâve tried everything and nothing makes me tired enough to actually go to sleep. This may sound weird, but... can you keep talking until I fall asleep?
âIs my voice so boring that it puts you to sleep? How comforting to know,â Iwaizumi deadpanned.
âNo!â Tooru protested, âItâs just...your voice is nice to listen to. Itâs relaxing.â The boy could feel his cheeks burning as he uttered his words.
Tooru could practically see Iwaizumi squinting his eyes at him, as if he was suspicious of the boyâs actions, âOkay⌠So, do you want me to just talk to you?â
The boy yawned as he settled himself down on his bed, nuzzling into the pillow,âYes, please, preferably with the softest voice you can manage to do.â
âHow am I supposed to know when to end the call?â
âYou can ask me if Iâm still awake, and if I donât respond, you can end the call,â Tooru replied with a voice that was barely there, âThank you, Iwa-chan.â
âNo problem, though you owe me lunch tomorrow,â Iwaizumi replied, and Tooru knew he was making the deal in order to break the sappy moment.
The boy continued to talk about what happened during his day and about the different types of books heâs been reading recently. After around twenty minutes of talking, he checked on Tooru to see if he was still awake. He could only hear soft breaths coming through the speaker, which answered his question. He smiled and whispered,âGood night,â and ended the call.
Yachi is frustrated because all her friends on the volleyball team share a lot of romantic tension between each other
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi are always around each other and smiling, Kageyama and Hinata have this sort of love/hate relationship going on, Daichi and Suga act like a married couple sometimes
Everyone on the team, in her eyes, is in love with another memberÂ
And she justs wants them to get together already dAMNIT
so as she walks home this notebook falls from the skyÂ
She picks it up and it says âDeath Noteâ
âDeath Note? But I donât want to kill anyone!â
Another notebook falls, this time reading âHomo Noteâ
That one intrigues her and she brings it home
So according to the rules, if you write someoneâs name down on the notebook, the nameâs owner will turn homosexual
If you write two names beside each other on the same line and they are of the same sex, theyâll fall in love with each other.
To undo the effects of the homo note, cross out the written names
Yachi doubts itâll work but tries it anyway and writes down kageyama and hinataâs names
And she is absolutely shook when hinata comes up to her the next morning and spills that he might have a crush on kageyama and has no idea what to do
After that she goes on a shipping spree and basically writes down all the names of the people on the team who she thinks should start dating
The whole team is in love with someone now and is too distracted to play
Yachi doesn't see the problemÂ
Kiyoko is very suspicious about whatâs going on and thinks whatâs happening is abnormal and tries to investigate
Yachi wasn't careful and dropped her homo note while running to class and Kiyoko finds it
She begins to see what's going on and confronts Yachi about it and tells her that it's wrong to play cupid because she shouldnât interfere with peopleâs love lives
She apologizes and crosses out everyoneâs names and the team is back to normal
To prevent a similar situation from happening again, the homo note is destroyed
Bonus:
Oikawa is Yachiâs Shinigaymi (i know it doesnt make sense but im making a pun) and heâs obsessed with volleyballs
Apparently the links on our masterlists werenât working so we went back and fixed everything (and it was a pain to do). Hopefully everything should be working now but please tell us if anything is wrong and weâll go to try and fix it if we can ^-^
OK so I love coffee shop aus and i wanted to try writing one because why not? The title I donât really agree with on a literal sense because tbh i like hot milk tea better but if you read youâll see (hopefully) what I mean by cold. I hope you enjoy! ~Elle
A man with unruly black hair and a grin that resembled that of the Cheshire Cat stood before Kenma for the fourth time that week. The scene was all too familiar, for the man placed his elbows on the counter, held his head in his hands and smirked at Kenma, the unfortunate cashier that captured his attention, just as he did every other time. Â
âIâd like a large milk tea, two gingerbread cookies and your number to go,â the man ordered with a smirk on his face that was almost considered permanent.
This man, Kenma thought to himself, was desperate.
âThatâs 850 yen,â Kenma replied, keeping his head down in case the customer was staring. The man handed him a 1000 yen bill and made Kenma roll his eyes when he said he could keep the change.
âShouyou, I need a large milk tea,â he called out to his co-worker. Said co-worker raised his head from the plate of green tea cheesecake he had his face buried in to face Kenma and nodded quickly, hiding the remnants of his crime. Kenma sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, wondering how the boy never got caught stealing the food.
âHere!â Shouyou passed the drink to Kenma, trying to hide the whipped cream smeared on his face with his free hand.
âYouâre lucky Kageyama-san isnât here,â Kenma remarked, earning a pout from the red-headed boy.
âLike you havenât sneaked coffee from here after all-nighters, Kenma-san,â Hinata replied in return. âAlso, that guy is here again? He must really like you!â
Kenma half-grimaced and muttered, âI fail to understand why heâs going after me of all people,â as he walked back to the counter. He picked two gingerbread cookies from the display shelves and placed them in a small paper bag, proceeding to hand said paper bag and the cup of tea to the man.
âI believe I ordered your number, as well?â The man commented, looking up at Kenma with an almost cocky expression, if not for the wavering of his eyes and the rising of his hand to run it through his hair.
His hair was so much of a mess that it remained intact when he did so...
âAre you sure you wouldnât like a glass of water instead, sir? You sound rather thirsty,â Kenma replied without missing a beat, âPlease leave the line if you are not going to order anything else.â
The comment seemed to have hurt the manâs pride, for he retreated to the nearest table, sat down and began to play with the stirrer in his tea with a defeated expression.
âKenma-san, youâve really been hanging out with Tsukishima-kun too much,â Shouyou commented, âSo cold!â
âI do admire the guyâs determination, but the pick-up lines are terrible,â Kenma sighed for the nth time since the mystery flirtâs arrival and began to make himself a mug of coffee. âIâll be right back.â
âGood luck!â Shouyou shouted as Kenma walked over to the lonely table the man was sat at. He sat himself on the seat opposite to him and placed his coffee mug on the table, the noise causing the man to look up from his tea. He stared at Kenma with wide eyes.
âWha-â
âIâm taking my break,â Kenma cut the man off. The customer nodded and avoided all contact as he continued to dip his cookies in his tea. His attitude was the complete opposite of what he made himself out to be in the last few days. Instead of overflowing confidence, he was timid and shy. Did he really want to impress Kenma that badly?
âIâm sorry for bothering you,â the man spoke up after a long silence. For the first time, he was actually able to keep eye contact for longer than a second.
âIâve had ruder customers, donât worry. Thank you for having the decency to apologize, but I donât believe your behavior was something to apologize about,â Kenma nonchalantly replied after sipping his coffee.
âThen what did I do that deserved an apology?â
âThe horrible pick up lines.â
The man looked at Kenma with wide eyes.
âWere they that terrible? My best friend told me they would work,â he sheepishly replied, âI really wanted to impress you, so Iâm sorry for that. If youâre interested, Iâd really like to take you out sometime when weâre both free.â His countenance gave off a more authentic aura of confidence instead of the fake cockiness he tried to display before.
Kenma considered his options for a moment. The man, he admits, is rather good-looking despite the permanent bedhead. He seemed to really be trying to gain his affections without being disrespectful. He also seemed to be nice and decent enough.
âIâll take up that offer, but on one condition.â
The manâs eyes lit up and he smirked once again, or perhaps it was his form of smiling. He took a sip from his tea, which was now disappointingly lukewarm, and asked, âWhatâs the condition?â
âPlease stop taking romance advice from your friend,â Kenma answered with a monotonous voice as he looked dead into the manâs eyes. The manâs smile grew bigger as his eyes closed and his head was thrown back in laughter.
