Nobody's picture perfect Hey! I'm Blaine Anderson. I go to UT and currently majoring in Music Performance. You can usually find me in the music hall or outside with my guitar.
Maybe we could take a trip sometime? I’m always up for people to join me.
It’s my dream to take a hipster trip to Europe to explore whatever century old art I can find. I almost feel inspired to start doing my history assignments from last year just to figure out what would be cool to see.
Dude, you’re young but not that young. It’s from 2001. And yeah, okay, totally looked that up just now cause I had no idea. If they do have it on Netflix and you wanna watch it with someone, hmu. It’s been ages for me too. I’ll bring popcorn.
I think you’re right… it is kinda the same. I mean, you gotta stay in shape to be able to dance and sing at the same time without running out of breath, right?
Yeah, I was born in 2001! That movie as old as I am! And I’m totally down with that. Maybe we can sit together on the bus and watch it because it’s like a four hours drive.
I do that every day though. I mean, sure after a show, I might unwind for a week, but I’m pretty much back into it. Conclusion: we don’t have an off season. Ha.
Blaine practically had the whole day planned; back to back shows and tomorrow any activity that he really wanted to do. However, when he checked his bank account, Blaine realized that he’d had what he... expected. So he had to restrict himself on how he was going to spend his weekend. Luckily, he had the meal tickets.
Belly dancing was not on the schedule, however he quickly realized that his schedule was terrible. He hadn’t realized that the park was so big and he only had ten minutes to run across the park. So instead, Blaine just looked for whatever the closest show was.
When he saw his friend sitting there, he waved at them. “Hey!” He shouted as he walked up to them. “Here to watch the show?”
Dude, I’m going to make you work off the angry in the gym. Cause working out makes you happy . You know, like Elle Wood says in Legally Blonde ’Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy.’ I’ve been doing a lot of weight and cardio workouts lately. Even though it’s offseason, gotta stay in shape. you know?
You know, I haven’t seen that movie in years, now I’m wondering if Netflix has it on. And plus, I think whenever I was growing up, that movie was already super old, like five years at least.
And cool, never really did a sport, so I’m not like in tune with what goes on during off seasons. Though, I guess it’s the same for choir and such.
Sometimes you can’t control something like that. You can study hard and something just happens. Don’t beat yourself up. You’re still amazing.
I’ve been to Paris a few times. My dad likes to take us there. I’m really more into seeing maybe Ireland or Scotland. Or Italy and Greece. I need to decide soon.
Thanks, but seriously, sometimes it... just feel bad.
I’m completely jealous. I’ve got a complete bucket list of things I just want to do and Europe is just on it. My mom also wants to take me to the Philippines sometime.
Umm, the only way I know to mask some chocolate intake or even that junior 40 thing is to work it off in the gym or go for a jog. You’re totally welcome to join me when I go to the gym?
I’ll totally take you up on that! I swear, I always go to the gym angry. I think I need some positive vibes going or I’m gonna totally force myself into an awkward relationship with me and the gym. What cha been doin’ lately in the gym?
Here are some words I never thought I would say. So happy that Easter is over and done with for this year. Kinda ate way too many chocolate eggs and bunnies. Gonna pack the ones I’ve got left in a box and send them home. Unless I can make one of you guys happy with some chocolate?
I would totally take you up on that if I already didn’t skip my weekly workouts. I’ve already avoided the freshman 15, and I’m seriously trying to avoid the junior 40. If you’ve got a secret for masking the chocolate intake, please let me know.
You know I like to support my friends. I wouldn’t miss it. I haven’t. I have some things lined up though. I’m thinking about doing this travel abroad thing.
You’re so sweet Q, thanks a bunch! Yeah, little bit stressed out about it. But ya know, simple life stuff.
That’s super exciting! Where are you thinking about going?
I don’t have any official plans. I’m keeping things pretty open for now. Looking into either volunteer work or an internship somewhere. How about you?
I actually don’t really know yet. I was looking to interview somewhere for a job here in Texas, but I’m not really sure yet. I keep missing my advisory appointments because of sleep. I do have an audition at the local theater though.
I’m glad to hear that! I can’t wait for you boys to join me.
Thank you. I’m glad to be here with you all. Break was definitely something, but I’m ready to finish up the assignments we have and for summer to be here.
Hey, um, sorry I missed it.
As for summer, you got any plans? I am actually ready for this summer to happen to. I don’t know why, junior year has been killer.
Positive thinking. Definitely need a big dose of that one. Well, whenever you are free, so am I. Just tell me when and where, okay? I’m always here to hang out with my favorite guy.
PRIVATE
Sounds good. I hope that things get better. I know boys can be stressful, but you’ll figure it out.

38. 38/100 total points. This was the lowest he’d ever done on a test.
There had to be a mistake. At least that’s what Blaine wanted to think. But he knew that it was true. Two days ago, he remembered sitting in the test hall and staring at the questions. Even staring at them now after the review, it didn't click in his brain.
Sucking air through his teeth, Blaine sprinted out of the class. He felt eyes on him, as if they all knew of his poor performance. That tense atmosphere followed him and consumed him. Anybody who glanced at him added pressure in a way that almost drove him to tears. Blaine Anderson, valedictorian of his high school, son of the part time actress Shay Anderson, had failed a simple US government test.
When he got to his dorm, he prayed Puck wouldn’t be there. To his relief, he was out. Blaine threw his bag sloppily on the desk and tossed himself into the bed. The pressure around him focused into his eyes. Tears came soon after.
Thirty minutes later, he emerged from a deeply soaked pillow. His bowtie flopped loosely around as it came undone. With a sniffle, Blaine reached up and pulled it loose. Harder than he met, Blaine threw it against the small box that held the rest of his bow ties. Drained, Blaine flipped over and placed his head on the pillow. His wide eyes stared blankly up at the ceiling. His brain made patterns over the random mesh of the drywall. Eventually he drifted off to sleep.
He woke up an hour later. His face dried and still puffy. He pulled himself to a sitting position. Rubbing the back of his neck, Blaine attempted to collect himself. His chest bloomed as the feelings from an hour ago remerged. He leaned forward and ran his hand over his hair. His curly hair begged to unleash from it’s tight bonds. He sighed out as he leaned onto the side wall. He was exhausted.
He didn’t understand it. The whole inside of him was growing bigger and he felt like his whole life would end. His eyes drifted over to his desk. He had homework due at the end of the week. ‘There’s no point.’ He thought. ‘It’s only 1% of the grade. Not like the 15% like the test is.’
The base of his stomach shook. He turned his head away from his desk. Without much else, he flopped back over. All he wanted to do was go back to sleep. His phone buzzed and he flipped over and reached for it.
Shay Anderson transferred 1000.00 dollars into account x0000.
Blaine blinked at it. His lips pressed as he stared at it. He opened up his account to see the money transferred in. Blaine lifted himself up and walked over to the bathroom. He washed his face, repatted his hair and went for his jacket. Within five minutes, he was out the door, prepared for the five hour drive to WinStar World Casino.
