Hey everyone. A kind friend reached out to me and informed me that the youtuber "The Drow Historian", who's known for using a lot of genAI imagery in his videos, is now also using art from artists in the community. There's pieces by @pidgeydraws and me, and neither of us were ever approached or asked for permission by him to use our art.

There's tons of art by other artists in the community. From two videos alone (these: 1. 2.) I gathered these artists:

@imagazhiraga , @the-nothing-maker , @luthierscurse , @epiclad and several others, though they don't have tumblr I think.

this is just unacceptable behaviour, this guy is definitely earning money and cannot even ask the people who breathe life into the community for permission. Some of these artworks used are commissioned pieces as well, by @estellisa and @khaytiefari

#perhaps im a little late but still gonna share this #i dont understand why is it so hard to ask permission and give credits to people who literally give life to this fandom #i feel so bad for all the artists who literally make BEAUTIFUL THINGS and are treated like shit #dont even wanna talk about ai that shit SUCKS i hate it with every fiber of my being #and the fact that dude deletes comments and acts rude instead of just apologizing literally make this situation even worse #i dont understand why such situations even happen in our world #overall im really mad
