oh yeah i completely forgot his name is pronounced differently pfftt, then it must just be because he has nice legs then. Maybe Kuroo started calling him leg and at first lev is confused until he gets it and takes it with pride

I totally forget a lot myself so I find myself correcting it a lot. I like to imagine that Nekoma forgets too because it's like Russian and it's strange for them still, so I could still see them mispronouncing it (but that's probably just like English headcanon because Japanese alphabet and its different sounds lol) Kenma would probably just stare at him "Like what are you doing, Kuro?" when Kuroo first says is because does Kuroo even think before he speaks, but still the nickname catches on. Lev's face is just all aglow when he finally understands and he's just like, "Yeah, that's right! I'm Leg!"

they do for both reasons, his name sounds like lev and damn he has some fine legs!!

But which of the boys came to the conclusion though? Like I just imagine how nonchalant Kuroo and Bokuto would be about it and it just stuck. even more it'd be funny if Tsukki's there and he just can't believe he's hanging out with these losers but he just can't understnad how casual they are about it. Lev's just ecstatic and takes the nickname in pride. He does have nice legs, doesn't even matter if his name's pronounced like "leaf" because his legs are so nice.
