Ladies, Your Shopping Guide for Fall Staples.
Funny how it only takes one 60 degree breezy day for that fall fashion bug to catch. You race home after work, spend the evening pulling out cold weather clothes from under your bed and start rearranging your wardrobe, or as I like to call it “nesting for fall”. We start craving muted colors, lush fabrics, sleeves that are way too long for our arms, and scarves that can definitely be confused as blankets. Layering becomes the most important part of your routine, which can’t be done without a solid set of go to staple pieces you can mix and match all day long. Here’s a curated list of e-brands you won’t want to miss this fall:
Ayr is a minimalists dream world, with a similar price point to J. Crew, but a much more modern aesthetic. They carry staples for all your body parts, with sophisticated materials and silhouettes, this is perfect place to do your next “I have nothing to wear to work splurge.”
My picks: The Slim Trouser in marine, The Brushed Cotton Shirt in heather, The Hi-Side Tunic in heather camel.

I simply cannot believe I only just discovered this shop a few weeks ago. It’s affordable, and they basically only sell the pieces your closet always seems to need more of: bralettes, comfortable plain shirts (with no words on them... so key), and sweaters, so many sweaters.
My picks: Charyn tank, Vyra bralette, Blies knit duster.

Azalea sells curated pieces from the top understated edge brands, in addition to their own line. Comfortable stretchy fabrics, androgynous forms, clean lines. Prices are moderate, certainly affordable enough that you might find yourself getting carried away and having to dial back your dream cart.
My Picks: The Standard L/S Dress, Side Pleat Box Maxi Dress, Rib Band Collar Jacket.

Don’t be put off by their modest website or their shy social media presence, Piko Shirts Official does not mess around. These are literally the most comfortable clothes you’ve ever worn. They keep to a simple canon, wide neck, tight arms, bamboo cotton. They make dresses, shirts and tanks in a gazillion colors, and nothing on this site is more than $60.
In my closet: Long Sleeve Tunic, ¾ Sleeve Dress, Long Sleeve Top.

Uber babe Karla Deras is the all time authority on curve accentuating style. Her first collection, The Line by K is small but impactful. Ribbed one pieces (hello layers), form fitting skirts in black and cream, and a tshirt that meets the standards of comfort and sex appeal.
