pilot outfit 1/?
hello tumblr people :D i am starting a series where i post each outfit i have of violet's in the order they appeared in the show. starting out with my one of my absolute favorites, and most expensive, outfit... the outfit she first appears in!
the outfits main peice is the APC floral madras dress.
the outfit also includes the urban outfitters boyfriend cardigan in yellow and a dark red undershirt! im not sure if the long sleeve has been identified but i just thrifted a red long sleeve :D
we see violet wear this when the harmon's first view the house and later when she is talking to tate in her bedroom. in the first scene, she is wearing the yellow cardigan and in the second scene she is not. i like both versions but the red undershirt brings out the red flowers on the dress which i really like!
this dress is fucking beautiful like honestly i adore it. on screen it appears to be a navy blue but irl its actually almost black! which i kinda like since vi never wore a lot of black.
i cannot find the boyfriend cardigan for the life of me so i bought this alt from the brand faded glory! i think it looks really similar the only difference is the buttons. it has pockets too which is really nice!!
as far as the dress its literally my favorite thing ever. its so long and flowy. its super well made too. my friend sold it to me to so i got a good price. most people sell this exact for $300+ because its so hard to find. the pattern is so pretty too <333 one of my fav exacts!!!
real quick note lol: i got a dm saying i am spoiled for having all these expensive clothes but i wanted to preface that i buy all my exacts with the money i earn from working hard. ive been working since i was 13 to help support my mom and have extra money to fuel my hobbies like collecting exacts! i have also been collecting for years so thats why my collection is so large. if u read that thank u!! but anyways..... im trying to post more for u guys and hopefully this series will motivate me :P i spend alot of time making my videos and taking good pictures for you guys! any sort of engagement is appreciated ^__^ love you all <3 feel free to ask any questions or leave an ask :D
