Astronomy Museum

Overview:                           The project is an astronomy museum with a series of dedicated galleries for different exhibits and a planetarium that is equipped with digital and starfield projectors. The project is aimed at anyone who is curious about astronomy or astrophysics. It will also provide the public an awareness of the proceedings at ISRO.

Aim:                                   Inspire more students to pursue astronomy,  Give the public an opportunity to interact with scientists and researchers  Immersive visual and acoustic experiences

Scope:                                An opportunity to explore how the idea of space and the mystery associated with it can be translated into something tangible like architecture and how the perception of space and curiosity about it affect the way the museum will be viewed.

Welcome to this very blank sheet of tumblr where I shall reveal to you the intricate and precise dealings of the architectural mind with the problem at hand.. I wish.. But alas, my brain-cells are not yet fully awake to such mysteries..

No my dear padawans, we are going on a journey through the infinite and boundless outer space. Through the miry depths of standard dimensions, fighting through the rules and regulations that show up like asteroids, threatening to throw us off course, through the perils of dreaming of Utopian solutions to real-world problems just to get a glimpse beyond the great unknown and finally scribble on a bit of paper the physical manifestation of the feeling outer space has stirred in us for centuries and still evokes in us.
