cinderpelt's dying words to leafpool effectively being "you can't change fate, your free will doesn't matter, starclan's always right" is... incredibly shitty, it's shitty messaging with horrible implications especially for a children's series, but in-universe I do find something kind of tragic and chilling about it in that yeah, within the world of the warrior cats series, fate IS literally being controlled to some extent and starclan is playing around with those two characters like puppets
