Hey! So very serious and very important post.

This is my cat Luna. I love her more than life itself and if something were to happen to her I don’t know what I’d do.

Well, something did happen. Her little brother Severus got roundworms and we aren’t sure if either one of them has had their shots. Since we know that it’s contagious, we’ve kept them separate until he can go to the vet. This is where the real problems start.

My parents are divorced and since my dad doesn’t pay child support, we’re constantly having to pinch pennies and save up for pretty much only the things that are absolutely necessary. My mom is a self employed counselor which means we don’t have insurance.

Luna needs to go to the veterinarian to see if she has worms too and we also need to find out if she’s had her shots, and if she hasn’t, she’ll need those.

Deworming, medicine and vet appointments can get very pricey especially since we don’t insurance for our pets. Im not sure of the exact number but I know the most expensive part is the initial trip to the vet.

Even $4 or $5 would help.

when van gogh said “I put my heart and soul into my work and have lost my mind in the process” I fell in love with the idea that every word of poetry we write or scrap of canvas we paint is a sacrifice of ourselves because we are giving up a part of us so that a passer-by may have it. there’s something so romantic about giving a slice of your soul to a stranger who will examine it once and perhaps forget about it or perhaps it will touch them and that part of you will be remembered. people get the quotes of others’ souls tattooed on their skin or patterned on their wall or simply imprinted in their minds and those who give their souls away will go mad and die of emptiness except they won’t be dead bc their soul is simply alive in someone else’s living room or on someone else’s bookshelf. idk there’s something so impossibly dark and yet utterly wonderful about that
