June 2020 - Alpe Devero, Italy 🇮🇹 So glad I had the chance to stay in this wonderful place for 5 straight days! It has been a blast of peace, nature, relax and reflection. For the first couple of days, me and my friend @niconicolagram took some time to go through some work, doing it remotely with the best breaks ever! Imagine thanking a 10 minute break and walk in this beautiful valley, with rivers and flowers everywhere! The other days were challenging and we hiked up a couple of peaks! The second one was 2550m above sea level! Of course not as high as the ones I did recently in Perú, but still challenging and exciting! February 2020 - Bijagua, Costa Rica It's been almost 3 months since we came back home. Sometimes, I look at the pictures and I think: what an amazing experience we had! We spent 3 days in this national park, which is super different from the costal part of Costa Rica! It is humid, cold and full of vegetation! It makes you feel you are in one of those jungle movie looking for the lost indigenous tresour! That day we visited a National Park which is literally on top of an active volcano 🌋 While you walk the forest paths sorrounded by the loudness of rainforest birds, you can literally smell the sulfur coming out of the ground. It is scaryyyy but also really adventurous :) Have you ever hiked in such a thick vegetation? November 2016 - A Couruña, Spain 🇪🇸 How do you make a perfect roadtrip? You just need some good friends, a car and of course places to visit! Northern Spain is just perfect for roadtrips! You can start from the Basque Countries, close to the border with France 🇫🇷 and go west passing from Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia. Those regions are extremely beautiful and if you like to surf those are perfect! 👌 There are plenty of wild beaches with amazing 🌊 You can also visit Picos de Europa! November 2017 - A Coruña, Spain 🇪🇸 Today I found and old, low resolution but high quality pic! Those guys in the pic are my adventure mates! March 2020 - Wilderness, South Africa On that day we arrived to this bay for a super cool slackline! However, when we got there these was a super thick fog and you could barely see in front of you... We found the slackline closed! So, instead of letting down, we took the chance to shot some sick pictures in this amazing location. The atmosphere was super weird as we could hear the strong crash of the sea waves on the shore, but we could not see them! That's why I love roadtrip and their randomness! You never know where you will find joy and fun! March 2020 - Signal Hill, Cape Town This pic was the last sunset we have seen during the YBL adventure so far. Many days have passed now and everyone got back to their normal life, well if you can call it normal! Looks like now everything has changed! I am still in quarantine and I'll be maybe for another month! But prospects are getting better and we might be able to restart the adventure soon! Finger crossed for this! For now I just remember how beautiful was Cape Town and how cool was Signal Hill with all those young people gathering up to watch the sunset, like those ones in the pictures! March 2020 - Camps Bay, Cape Town On our last day in Cape Town we witnessed one big fire spreading super quick due to really strong wind. The fire moved from one to the other side of the mountain in less then half an hour and we were really shocked by this speed. On top of that the wind was so strong that elicopters couldn't fly and so no water could be used to extinguish the fire! Fortunately no houses were involved and no people injured but a bunch of cars parked at the beginning af lion's head hiking trail got completely burned down! March 2020 - Strand, Western Cape On the first day of the roadtrip we were already super late due to many issues that we fortunately managed to solve. We had to drive 4 hours to reach Massle Bay and look up for a camping spot... However when we saw this beautiful beach we could not help stopping by and eat some ice cream! Being Italian i am usually very picky when it comes to ice cream, but this one (beside the bad look) was very very good! The day was warm and windy! So we had to eat it super quick otherwise it would have melted. This is one of cherest memories, it symbolizes the sweet, colorful vibe at the beginning of a new journey as it was for us the roadtrip along the garden route... :) I want my life to be full of those starting moments!
